😩🤪😓 Last week was pretty hectic. My Twitter post went viral, with almost 10 million views.
I heard from both sides of the Internet. Some people were supportive and helpful, while others were hateful and offensive. But the majority were trolls.
Despite that noise, I was able to block it out and do what I love: teach and inspire developers.
Under those circumstances, I'm really proud of my webinar presentation.

Look it’s the same Anh I worked with for the last year in a adjacent team, she came in and redesigned/lead/implemented our data lake migration and she was going to take it next level with near real time incremental sync but now this. Any team would be lucky to have her.
Today my gf was laid off from @Microsoft as a Software Engineer 😢😭
She has 60 days to find a new job or she will be forced to leave the USA 😭😭😭
Please help her by sharing this post with recruiters who are hiring Software or Data Engineers.

I worked with Anh and any EM should grab her and run away with their biggest prize ever. Seriously. We had a data problem and 5 vendor teams were giving me quotes to fix it in 3-6 months for a total of $500K-2M total. Anh jumped in and fixed everything in less than a month.

This country was built by immigrants, but they still get treated like crap. As a woman immigrant in tech, she has fought so hard to work in the US. She's been discriminated against and was underpaid for her level. Please help, she only has 60 days!
