“Normies” - referred to as people NOT in the tech field - are going to be in for a weird Awakening for the next 12-18 months as they experience many websites that they are familiar with across the internet being hacked and affecting them personally e.g. banking websites, and medical site such as Quest Diagnostics - letting them know that their accounts have been compromised.
We need to stop pretending this is just
'unforeseeable' progress. It's time for real accountability before the next major grid or financial institution goes down.

I genuinely dislike ordering #Cisco equipment. The products are excellent, but customer service is either missing or overly complex, such as CCW or PXP. I end up practically pleading with my representative to process a five- or six-figure order each time. My IT peers share this view, so I know I am not alone. Perhaps they are too big to fail for now, but Adobe once held that status—recall their Flash plugin? Today, a smaller firm like Nitro PDF provides the same PDF capability with real attention to service, avoiding the constant upselling and renewal hurdles typical of Adobe “reps”. Who’s going to step it up and replace Cisco to end the ordering nightmares?
