#Asthma in adults, adolescents and children 6–11 years should not be managed with short-acting β2-agonist relievers (SABAs) alone. Inhaled corticosteroid (ICS)-containing therapy reduces the risk of severe exacerbations, and controls symptoms. See ginasthma.org/reports/

A positive step towards addressing bronchodilator dependency and the overuse of salbutamol.
Co-producing easy to use info with families can reduce the amount of salbutamol used after discharge for acute wheeze
Such a simple but effective intervention

HAY FEVER is a common pollen allergy affecting many children & young people. There's no cure, but advice or medicines from your pharmacy or GP can help with symptoms.
⚠️most adult medicines are not suitable for children.

The @MHRAgovuk has for the first time approved the use of a dual (ICS/Formoterol) combination treatment to be used for the management of mild asthma in people over 12 years of age. The approval supports the move away from reliance on short-acting beta2-agonists.

Really important point. Asthma is a chronic NOT an acute disease! So why are asthma attacks treated without a post attack review to find out why it happened and to fix modifiable factors:
