Live content editing + @nextjs App Router + Server Components. Prismic gives you the best of everything. Here's how we did it: prismic.io/blog/live-editing…

The greatest prank ever pulled on developers started in 1991.
Since its creation, Vim has inspired other hoaxes like "Birds aren't Real", "Flat Earth", and "Agile Software Development."

🎉The latest SliceMachine version is out and with it my new favorite feature.
You can now Copy+Paste the custom screenshot of your Slice from Figma.
Just hit ⌘+Maj+C from Figma, ⌘+V in SliceMachine and Voilà 🙌
If you're building hybrid React libraries that support both React Server Components (RSC) and "legacy" non-RSC apps, knowing how to use conditional exports effectively will be highly useful.

After a lengthy break from reading Infinite Jest, I decided tonight would host my return. The bookmark left me at a subchapter starting with, “Poor Tony Krause had a seizure on the T.”
Do yourself a favor and read the excerpt: newyorker.com/magazine/1994/…
💡 Should we treat React Server Components as its own framework, separate from React?
As a library maintainer, supporting client and server components in one API seems impossible. If we separate them into individual APIs, however, perhaps it becomes conceivable.

I wonder what framework this site is running on.

Has anyone made a tool that tells you if a CSS class is unused right in your editor?
Similar to ESLint's `no-unused-vars`, but at a project-wide CSS level. 🤔
Next 13 is clearly going to be huge. But Turbopack will be even huger. #nextjsconf
With all this talk about "returning to CSS," we need to remember the boost in developer velocity CSS-in-JS gave us.
How can we keep that benefit while eliminating CSS-in-JS's negative overhead?
@tailwindcss is the only close answer that I know of.
Replying to @brucel
It's difficult to match the ease of styling with tools like styled-system and the `css` prop. Tailwind gets very close. Sass + CSS Modules isn't anywhere near as ergonomic.
The real problem CSS-in-JS solved was not needing to name things.
Since joining @prismicio, the team and I have been pushing to get TypeScript support as a core feature.
Our libraries have been rewritten in TypeScript, and now you get automatic types for all of your CMS content. It's magic! 🪄
@li_hbr shows it off fantastically here. 🙌
Slice Machine 0.5.1 is out! 📢
✨ Slice Machine can now generate @typescript types for you. Automatically 🤯
Discover how you can get started with it in under a minute with @li_hbr 👇
Over the past week, I met everyone I worked remotely with at @prismicio for the first time.
Stepping away from screens and getting to know these people IRL was one of the best experiences I’ve had.
If you have the opportunity to meet your remote co-workers, don’t pass on it! 👨👩👧👦
💡 Admitting defeat while writing code is okay.
Come up with a workaround even if it isn't as elegant as you'd like.
If you know something could be better, but don't know how, be humble and add a comment stating exactly that.
Welcome others to improve on your work. 👨👩👧👦
Sometimes fixing edge-cases requires circumventing the issue altogether with clever refactors.
This PR is an example of exactly that: removing the cause of an issue rather than patching it.

Someone asked potential employers to view a past interview assignment. It was intended to show employers their capabilities, but it got me thinking…
What if potential *employees* gave *employers* an assignment? The interview process goes both ways.
