What did The Mamba Mentality really mean for Kobe & what were some key #habits that helped him become one of the greats? I saw them during our years working together. And here’s one you can apply to anything you want to get better at. #performance #kobe #mindset #mambamentality

Awesome Mike. You facilitate thinking in others to change their habitual thought patterns. I'm reminded of Jim Loehr when I think of the power of personal narrative. May his soul rest in peace (legend). He nailed it with this quote. Your short clip here reminded me of Jim's quote
The trick to a bad thought mid-game isn't fighting it, it's not fighting it at all. It's the dwelling on the thought that jams you...my job is to be aware of it, entertain it if it's helping, and if not, just be like, yeah, see you later. You're not a machine, weird thoughts bubble up whether you like it or not. The skill isn't stopping them. It's learning to let them pass through instead of setting up camp.

So easy to stick around bad friends hoping for a change in dynamics in the relationship. A cleanse of relationships is so important. Recognizing who buoys us up and who doesn't is equally important. Thanks for sharing this Mike.
Simon Sinek, @simonsinek, says being a bad friend does real, measurable damage, not just to feelings, but to how people think and cope. When we are bad friends, we leave people feeling unseen, unheard, misunderstood, alone. That's bad for anyone's mental health, anyone's ability to cope with stress, anyone's ability to think through problems and seize opportunities. He's not where he is despite his friends putting up with his selfishness and self-involvement, he's there because of it. Good friendship isn't just comfort. It's infrastructure.

Always return back to this inspiring Jim Loehr's quote. How true it is. Kept that quote up on our chalkboard wall for a long time as a reminder to always be aware of our inner voice. Jim recently passed away, but his impact will last for ages. @tferriss @michaelgervais

Many thanks to Dr. Tiffany Fuller for capturing many of the moments we all experienced during "Day 1 and Day 2 in Asheville." Here is the link > tiffanyfuller.smugmug.com/20… It contains what seems like over 10,000 pictures from the Wednesday evening social, pictures of our exhibitors, keynoters, presenters - all the way to our Closing Ceremonies and "All Camp Group Pictures!" Again, it was so great to see each of you. We hope yesterday brought a memorable time and that you had the chance to network with other wonderful attendees from across the United States and around the world!

Ss practiced serves in a variety of net and wall games. They self assessed themselves over 2 lessons to see the progress. They choose the level they felt they are. Such an easy way to see progress and let students know they are heard. #Physed #Lovepe @andyvasily @meaningfulPE
