This is beyond shameful, and a terrifying sign.
Albanese is as close to a political saint as we're likely to see, and watching her be persecuted for her very virtues reveals just how morally collapsed the West has become.
She literally personifies the highest ideals of public service: profound integrity, intelligence, graceful eloquence, and an almost sacred commitment to the voiceless and defenseless.
The fact that we're in an era where we persecute figures like her who advocate for murdered children and civilians in order to protect (and keep arming) their killers proves we've abandoned any pretense of civilization. We are not much more than a nihilistic death cult now.
Today I am imposing sanctions on UN Human Rights Council Special Rapporteur Francesca Albanese for her illegitimate and shameful efforts to prompt @IntlCrimCourt action against U.S. and Israeli officials, companies, and executives.
Albanese’s campaign of political and economic warfare against the United States and Israel will no longer be tolerated. We will always stand by our partners in their right to self-defense.
The United States will continue to take whatever actions we deem necessary to respond to lawfare and protect our sovereignty and that of our allies.

C'est très facile de fêter les héros et résistants d'hier ou d'avant-hier, surtout quand il leur est rendu un hommage officiel.
En revanche, reconnaître et défendre une résistante aujourd'hui ! Cela veut dire aller contre l'opinion dominante. Moins de monde se bouscule au portillon.
Dans 20 ou 30 ans Francesca Albanese sera au Panthéon d'un Occident désireux de se racheter moralement après avoir soutenu le génocide de Gaza. Et beaucoup verseront des larmes bien conformistes sur son courage - surtout si, par malheur, elle finissait assassinée ou "suicidée" dans les mois à venir.
Mais c'est aujourd'hui qu'il faut soutenir Madame Albanese; qu'il faut la protéger contre la violence aveugle du Système occidental.
La proposition qui se répand de la soutenir pour le prix Nobel de la paix me paraît bienvenue. Plus nous enflammerons les réseaux sociaux avec, mieux Madame Albanese sera protégée et pourra continuer son travail irremplaçable pour la justice et la vérité.

Pour que son rapport soit rédigé, elle doit sortir 10k. Le délégué se retire et lui dit de revenir lundi avec 10k de plus. Ce tout premier pas est déjà au-dessus de ses moyens. Pour le transmettre au parquet, choix entre nourrir ses enfants et tenter d'obtenir justice.
