For generations Sony has been using their influence or outright paying devs to keep games OFF of XBOX even if it means those games stagnate or fail because of it
It is LONG overdue for XBOX to start prioritizing their own fans the same way Playstation & Nintendo does
@asha_shar
Xbox Research team is asking users how they would feel if ‘all future’ Xbox titles, excluding Call of Duty, became exclusive to Xbox
The research question also asks users how’d they feel if Minecraft stopped supporting PS5 and Nintendo

here’s the thing it ain’t no different. If you wanna play Spider-Man Wolverine uncharted and all of PlayStation exclusives get a PlayStation if you wanna play, Bethesda games, Minecraft ,Halo ,gears, etc. Get an Xbox there’s no difference.

Not true with Elder Scrolls. Morrowind was completely exclusive to Xbox console. Oblivion was exclusive to Xbox for a year and Skyrim had exclusive timed DLC.

I wouldn’t mind seeing microsoft go exclusive but they’d have to pick and choose. Especially because minecraft and bethesda games have historically been multiplat.

They saw Ocarina of Time trending for 24 hours straight and got nervous…
This is 90% cutscenes btw.
They want you to buy into the presentation, the cinematics, and the spectacle rather than the actual gameplay.
Just a depressing reflection of the state of Western gaming.

All of them. Including Minecraft. Fuck it include COD in 2032. Why give Sony anything. They literally take away at any chance. FAFO mode.

i think it's going to go with a strategy change.
If their goal is to sell consoles and as many as possible, exclusives must exists.
This was not the goal previously, the goal previously was to get a game into as many hands as possible

Can't wait for the @PaulTassi article and video about why xbox should not make everything exclusive
Not hating ... I watch all of his videos but XBOX 1st party games should all be exclusive
All of them
Bethesda and activision included all games should be XBOX console exclusive

Clockwork Revolution
- inXile Entertainment
- first-person action RPG
- alternate-reality steampunk
- time travel is key
- past choices transform the future
- fully customizable protagonist
- Xbox console exclusive
- confirmed 2027
This could be a huge release for Xbox, but I hope the exclusivity doesn't hurt it.

FACTS @Boxenberger
ALL of them!! Every single game you can make exclusive needs to be. You're in a market where ALL other competitors have there IP's exclusive! That is the only way to compete and you need to be ruthless @asha_shar @XBOX

Everything should remain an Xbox exclusive. It's the best way to encourage people to buy an Xbox console! @asha_shar

You can't tell me If TES6 is launched as an exclusive to Helix won't move consoles

They should all be Xbox and PC only. Why buy IP as a platform holder if you aren’t going to use it to boost your platform exclusively?

Yes, all games except COD should become exclusives.

Xbox literally has an IP cache full of system sellers, but they give out all those games to Playstation and Nintendo. Dont tell me Minecraft, TES, Fallout, etc being exclusive wouldn't move Xbox units like it was the 360 days
Everyone who gets butthurt @XBOX going full exclusive Proves it works. Proves you want there games. In a market where everyone has exclusive you must also to compete. TES6 and Fallout 5 and All Bethesda games plus Doom, New Halo, Fable should be. They will bring millions over!!
FACTS!!!!

If Asha and company serious about bringing the XBOX platform back to prominence you gotta keep your big exclusives to yourself. All money not good money. Look at now the competition move.

🚨 APPARENTLY, GAMERS HAVING RIGHTS IS A CHILDISH IDEA.
Well, that's interesting.
Some people have called what we're doing childish. Others doubt gamers can accomplish anything by standing together. Fair enough. But I'd like to hear an actual argument.
Here's what I see.
Consumers spend billions on gaming, yet have little influence over the rules governing their purchases. Corporations have legal departments, lobbyists, shareholders, and teams protecting their interests.
Who represents the kid mowing lawns all summer to buy that $70-$100 game? I'll wait.....
Imagine how proud that kid feels when he finally buys something he worked for. Then tell him that his purchase may only grant him a license, subject to legal conditions he couldn't begin to understand.
"I suppose nine-year-olds need law degrees to understand Sony's Terms of Service."
Tell me why that kid shouldn't have clearly defined rights.
And what about someone spending hundreds on a console, only to discover the manufacturer controls what software runs on it, what modifications are permitted, and which storefronts are available?
You paid for the hardware. Yet your freedom to use it remains restricted.
Companies have legitimate reasons to protect intellectual property, combat piracy, and maintain secure services.
Somewhere along the way, protecting intellectual property became a justification for restricting consumer choice. " It's do what we say or get banned!" - how is that fair?
And what do gamers get in return for all that money?
Take away the disc, and you take away something tangible. Something we can hold, lend, trade, resell, or keep for years.
Digital games have value. But what happens when a company controls access to something we've already paid for?
What exactly are we buying? How much control should the seller retain after taking our money?
That's why I believe we need a Gamers' Bill of Rights.
Not because we want everything free, hate corporations, or are throwing some childish tantrum.
Spending hard-earned money should come with meaningful consumer protections, transparent purchasing terms, reasonable repair rights, and freedom to choose how and where you buy games.
Physical or digital? That should be YOUR choice. Not mandates
passed down from corporate headquarters.
To those who disagree, make your case. Explain why gamers shouldn't have stronger protections. Explain why the current system is better. Bring facts and reasoning. Just because you say it, doesn't make it true. Defend your position.
Calling people childish isn't an argument. Neither is saying nothing will ever change. Lots of changes have been made due to public outcry- History is full of them.
You're welcome to disagree here. I encourage intelligent debate. But if you're only here to insult people or troll, don't expect an audience. You have your own platform. Be respectful or get banned.
Real gamers can disagree. Respecting each other's right to ask questions shouldn't be controversial.
I'm not asking anyone to blindly follow me. I'm asking gamers to think about what they're paying for and what they're receiving. Is the system fair?
The message was sent, and people are listening.
That matters.
Here's my question:
If you could put ONE guaranteed consumer protection into a Gamers' Bill of Rights, what would it be?
Ownership protections? Physical media options? Right to repair? Preserving games when online services shut down?
I want actual proposals we can discuss and build upon.
Share this. Get other gamers involved. Let's turn this conversation into something meaningful.
If gamers don't speak up for their interests, who will?
