Getting GTA 6 on Xbox Series X instead of PS5 is a no-brainer.
Not only does the Series X pack slightly more raw GPU power (12 TFLOPs vs 10.3 TFLOPs) and native Dolby Vision for those Vice City neon graphics, but the platform convenience hits different:
🔥 Quick Resume lets you freeze your story mode and jump right back in with zero load screens.
🇳🇿 The legendary New Zealand trick actually works. Since the digital rollout is based on local midnight time zones, Xbox players can change their console region to New Zealand and play up to 18 hours before the US/UK. Good luck trying that easily on a PS5 account!

All the consoles (yes, even Series S) have comparable cpus.
GTA6 is likely to be CPU limited a lot of the time (think Crimson Desert bug Hill...but most of the time).
If its 60fps on Pro it will be on SX and PS5 base as well imo.
Series S may hit GPU limits before 60fps though (unless huge visual cut backs are made there) so in this scenario, Series S would likely still be 30fps.
Don’t want to sound pessimistic but if GTA 6 doesn’t ship with a performance mode on base consoles like the PS5, then I highly doubt PS5 Pro will have it.
We can see Higher Resolution, better Ray Tracing and PSSR implementation but that would be about it.
The biggest bottleneck of PS5 Pro still remains its CPU and with how many activities and game mechanics the game currently has, its entirely possible that we will see Rockstar Games treating GTA 6 similar to Red Dead Redemption 2 on the PS4 Pro.
We still don’t know for certain if GTA 6 will have a performance mode at all, so it would be good to know how GTA 6 scales from the cheapest current gen console to the most expensive one in terms of resolution and performance modes (if there are any).
