Want a great New Years Day movie?
While 15% heavy handed in places #TopGunMaverick is brilliant, the real aerial photography being truly epic.
What you shouldn’t miss in the visual pizazz & flag waving is a Tom Cruise tour de force in acting. It might be near his best. Brilliant.

Hey @elonmusk! Could you help out with a peace plan to return historical Norwegian territories to Norway? We are not unreasonable. We are willing to compromise in the name of peace. E.g. we could maybe give up Northern Ireland and Brittany in exchange for the rest. How about it?!

The number of AI papers on arXiv per month grows exponentially with doubling rate of 24 months.
How can we cope with this? AI itself can help, by predicting & suggesting new research directions.

i try to stay at the extreme low end of the hype scale possible for a QC founder, but even i am a little perplexed by the almost reflexive disdain the community seems to have for any claims of a possible intersection of QC and climate. i have a few ideas.

The difference between human-drawn bad bicycles and AI-generated photorealistic 5-6 legged horses is important and insightful.
Humans are largely unable to reproduce the visual likeness of something. But they know what the parts are (2 wheels + 2 pedals + handbar + saddle).
