Profound is partnering with @google and @lightspeedvp to host our next $40,000 Marketing Engineering Hackathon on October 3rd at @profound HQ in SF.
The challenge: take a marketing process that would be impossible to perform manually, and build a system or agent that runs it.
Our NYC hackathon in June was 5x oversubscribed, and there are only 40 spots for this one, so apply early. Applications close September 20.

Agent Led Growth is driving outsized growth at the best companies rn
Market to the agents, not to humans

Today I learned AI search/AEO is our top converting customer acquisition channel at @fal 💡📈
Here's what happened: 👇
In our onboarding flow, we started asking people how they found us and broke it down into Google, AI Search, Social Media, Blog, Event...
I was honestly surprised to see AI search drove the highest % of customer acquisition and that it outpaced organic search from Google.
So now that we know AI search is driving acquisitions I am still curious about
1. which AI search engine drives growth (Chat GPT, Claude, Grok...)
2. what were the users looking to solve with fal (why did they convert from AI search and what did they search)

Profound is now an official @AnthropicAI connector, and with today's announcement we're unveiling all new capabilities.
You could already surface the analytics you get in @profound via the MCP, so you can run analysis without leaving your conversation with @ClaudeAI.
Now you can also:
1/ Generate prompts from Claude and add them to your existing prompt set
2/ Design, build, and run Profound Agents without leaving Claude
3/ Ideate on marketing automations by working with the MCP directly in Claude
Claude is the harness you already work in: broad, capable, great at reasoning across whatever you throw at it. A Profound Agent is a marketing specialist that's always just a tool call away, built on top of your brand's context, our data, and our runtime. Put them together and you get an orchestrator and its sub-agents, a mixture of experts.
With these new capabilities, Claude isn't just talking to Profound, it's building inside Profound on your behalf. And because every agent runs on the same runtime that powers the AI Search efforts at scale for thousands of our enterprise customers, what you build in a chat is a reusable Agent that can be shared across teams.

Aim is the agent harness designed specifically for marketing. It a major piece in where we're taking the @profound platform.
That's why I'm excited for Josh Blyskal to give everyone an inside look at how Aim works alongside marketers this Wednesday.

Today, @profound is launching Aim, the first background agent purpose-built for marketers.
For months, we've been obsessed with one problem: dashboards tell you what's happening, but not how to act on the data.
Aim is the agent harness designed specifically for marketing. Aim is trained from scratch on Profound's proprietary data, grounded in our research, and understands how marketers get work done.
Aim analyzes your AI Search data, Prompt Volumes, competitive insights, and Knowledge Base to surface the opportunities worth acting on. It finds the anomalies that matter so you can spend your time on what moves the needle.
Every Project comes with a data-backed brief and recommended tasks. From there, you can:
• Chat with Aim to refine the plan
• Deploy the custom Agent in one click
• Track progress automatically
Aim is your newest teammate keeping you moving in the right direction, working 24/7.
