I beg you, save what's left of Gaza.

This is no longer a rumour. Our own minister has confirmed it.
If land is leased to a foreigner with renewable 99 years, how can we meaningfully retain control over the land as sovereign property?
This is giving land with no return date and @MMuizzu alone can’t decide this!

Rasmalé residence queuing at Gate community checkpoint to access premium healthcare. Most of them will come out with organs missing.
Min Muthalib further explains:
The schools in Rasmale will be for the children of those working in the development.
However, the government specifically demanded that the hospital and shopping mall be accessible to Maldivians.
So, despite Rasmale being a gated community, Maldivians will be allowed to enter the hospital if they have an appointment and will also have access to the shopping mall.

Calling Rasmale a gated community is underrepresenting what it really is. Gated communities are usually small neighbourhoods
This is a gated city

This needs urgent attention from those responsible for our healthcare system.
“WE DEMAND PROPER HEALTHCARE ACROSS ALL ISLANDS OF THE MALDIVES.
How many more lives must be lost before emergency healthcare is taken seriously across our islands?
Yesterday morning, at approximately 06:30, our family faced a medical emergency in Villimalé. My mother suddenly developed severe breathing difficulties and was fighting for her life. We immediately called for an ambulance.
It took more than 20 minutes for the ambulance to arrive.
Twenty minutes in a place like Villimalé, where you can walk from one end of the island to the other in less than five minutes. How is that acceptable in an emergency?
And when the ambulance finally arrived, it came with nothing more than a driver. No nurse, no paramedic, no medical professional to provide immediate emergency assistance to someone struggling to breathe.
At that point, what is the purpose of calling an ambulance? We might as well have called a taxi.
But what happened next at the hospital was even more heartbreaking.
We arrived expecting immediate medical attention. The doctor eventually arrived with his child, left the child at the reception and began attempting to save my mother’s life.
Our family was standing there desperately hoping and praying for a miracle. After attempting to revive my mother, the doctor apologised, told us to wait a minute and left again to drop his child at school.
Let that sink in.
A family was watching their mother fight for her life, and in those critical moments, we witnessed a situation that raises serious questions about emergency medical coverage, staffing and preparedness.
I am not writing this out of anger alone. I am writing this because what happened to my family should never become another family’s experience.
This is not simply about one ambulance, one doctor or one hospital. This is about a healthcare system that needs to be questioned and held accountable.
* Why does an ambulance take more than 20 minutes to respond to an emergency in such a small island?
* Why are ambulances operating without trained medical personnel to provide immediate emergency care?
* Why is there no proper emergency medical coverage available around the clock?
* Why should patients and their families have to face such uncertainty when every second matters?
* Who is responsible for ensuring that emergency medical services are actually ready when people need them?
We are not asking for luxury healthcare. We are asking for the most basic human right: timely, professional and accessible emergency medical care.
People living in Villimalé and other inhabited islands deserve the same standard of emergency healthcare as those living in Malé.
An emergency does not wait for office hours. A person struggling to breathe cannot wait for someone to become available. Every second can make the difference between life and death.
Every second matters. Every life matters. Every island matters.
We demand answers. We demand transparency. We demand accountability. Most importantly, we demand immediate improvements to ambulance services, emergency medical staffing and healthcare facilities across all islands of the Maldives.
Please do not let this become just another heartbreaking story that people read today and forget tomorrow.
No family should ever have to experience this. No one should have to wonder whether an ambulance will arrive with someone capable of saving a life.
My mother deserved better. Every mother, father, son and daughter in this country deserves better.”

A 13 year old boy from Gaza City returned from Egypt just 20 days ago. Today, he went to play a football match with his friends. He was a talented and skilled football player.
He scored a goal and started running joyfully to celebrate, but a randomly fired bullet ended his life instantly.
He celebrated his goal and died in the very same moment.
He returned to Gaza after travelling, only to find death waiting for him here.
This whole thing sounds like a nightmare
Min Muthalib also reassured Eagle Hills’ security capabilities.
Like State Minister Nazim, he spoke about the extensive surveillance system Eagle Hills would implement, including the integration of AI into security operations.
Although Rasmale is three times the size of Hulhumale, the Minister believes it will be much easier to control and manage because the entire development will be managed by a single company.
According to him, the Gov would not need to monitor the behaviour of every individual. Instead, it could simply instruct the company on what is and is not permitted.
He also claimed that foreign buyers simply want to have ownership documented on paper, and that is all they are interested in.
