We're excited to lead Quanfluence's $10M round, alongside Rainmatter by Zerodha and existing investor pi Ventures.
Sujoy Chakravarty and team are building a full-stack photonic quantum computer in India, from indigenously designed photonic chips to control electronics and software, with the long-term goal of a fault-tolerant, general-purpose quantum computer. The founding team brings rare depth across photonics, semiconductors and quantum research, the combination this problem demands.
We believe Quanfluence can help strengthen Indiaโs position in the global quantum computing landscape.

Twenty years. But the story was never really about the years.
It was about the entrepreneurs who saw opportunities before they were obvious, built categories before they existed, and kept building when the outcome was far from certain.
Over the last two decades, Chiratae has had the privilege of backing founders across SaaS, e-commerce, fintech, consumer internet, healthcare, deeptech, spacetech and moreโeach building ahead of the curve and, in many cases, helping shape the categories that followed.
As Chiratae turns 20, we start where the story really belongs: with the companies and entrepreneurs who shaped the journey.

Peeko raises Rs 67.4 crore led by Chiratae Ventures to scale quick babycare platform
Chiratae's investment in Peeko is notable given its long association with FirstCry. The venture capital firm was an early backer of the babycare retailer and remained invested for more than 12 years through its evolution into an omnichannel business and its 2024 IPO.

Anoop Menon is now Investment Partner at Chiratae Ventures.
Consumer technology has been an important area of focus for Chiratae, and one where we have had the opportunity to back several companies through different stages of their growth.
Over the years, Anoop has played an increasingly important role in shaping and leading our work across the consumer technology portfolio and has worked closely with and backed several companies in the sector. His progression at Chiratae reflects both the contribution he has made to the investment team and the responsibility he has taken on as the firm has grown.
We are pleased to see him take on the role of Partner and a broader set of responsibilities at Chiratae. We congratulate Anoop on this next step in his journey and look forward to the contribution he will continue to make.
Congratulations, @anoopnmenon!

Hi, all. Iโve been seeing an inaccurate policy document going viral about Lenskart.
I want to speak directly that this document does not reflect our present guidelines.
Our policy has no restrictions on any form of religious expression, including bindi and tilak, and we continue to review our guidelines regularly.
Our grooming policy has evolved over the years and outdated versions do not represent who we are today. We apologize for the confusion and concern this situation has caused.
We as a company, continue to learn and build. Any lapses in our language or policies have and will continue to be addressed.
We have thousands of team members across Bharat who wear their faith and culture proudly every day at our stores. They are Lenskart.
Lenskart was built in Bharat, by Indians, for Indians. Every symbol and every tradition our people carry is a part of who we are as a company. I will never let that be compromised.
