Our discussion group on community well-being in universities this morning was fascinating. Lots of overlap with the findings from my research and my own experience as uni staff - but also lots that made me contemplate and question my own perceptions #smhc24
I've been reflecting on one of my own discussion responses (more of a rant) on metrics and responsibility for these. I actually showed pretty poor community well-being by trying to claim this was for others to worry about rather than a collective responsibility...#smhc24
Empathy goes both ways! Good community well-being needs environments that break down 'us and them', help us feel 'in it together', and motivate us to do our best for the community. Blog on my findings below @Garethstudentwb @zile_amy @Sam_GB_Roberts
