Infographic from review in J Fungi (pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/3494…). Demonstrates that CAPA is a and less frequent later complication than IAPA. Less likely to be angioinvasive, presumably why GM positivity is 10-20%, (c.f. >50 in IAPA).

This was the best year of my training - an amazing chance for training in the whole trauma pathway. I did it as an anaesthetist, but open to other specialties: surgeons, EM and more.

Proud to be at the final @LDNairamb @NHSBartsHealth lecture by my friend and inspiration, Dr Gareth Davies, this afternoon. His impact on prehospital care across the world is truly immense. I’m sensing there’s more to come from this living legend, but what a story. Thanks GD.
