Bravo !!, #Reform in #Kent who've FINALLY got round to repainting all the SLOW DOWN / SCHOOL ZONE signs here, in #Sheppey. And Bravo to local paper Kent Messenger pointing out that the school ... ... closed ten years ago under the same Tories who now run #Reform in #Kent.

I was tagged and asked to take a look at this claim - cos, well just look at it!🙄 Does it seem plausible that THE Trocadero is going to be turned into a Mosque? It was pretty easy to debunk but I decided to do a deep dive into the reality AND the appalling press coverage 🧵 1/26

"It has been claimed..." passive tense working very hard there.
'The police whistleblower says that the “horrific crime” has been rife in London for 20 years.' @alexarmstrong reacts to explosive reports indicating that the trafficking of kids by rape gangs in London is occurring on an industrial level.

The very uncharitable profits of JustGiving which takes fees, a cut of gift aid, and then asks donors for a tip! bit.ly/4nzZpDV much better to give directly to the charity, but if you do use JG always set tip to zero. But you can’t stop it snaffling some of the Gift Aid

102,000 hairdressers in England with 40,000 salons 27,000 GPs with 6200 Surgeries 31 million people visit GPs every month, a similar number have haircuts. In can see some issues with this comparison. Not sure anyone died if they got the wrong haircut.

Here is the Sun's pitifully small apology for its lie about benefits tourism - a lie that was accepted as truth by millions and helped deliver Brexit. These lies are perverting our democracy. At a minimum, apologies should be published in the same location and size as the lie. – at Brighton, England

Pulling the Reform thread is revealing more and more dodgy finances. Where's our fucking press?
The Guardian today reported that an insolvent company donated £100k to Reform. The Guardian got the name of the company wrong, it should be Interior Architecture Landscape (theguardian.com/politics/202…) Two directors of the company are father (dec'd) David Robin Simpson and son John Richard Simpson. DRS was also a director of RM Services London Ltd (Management of real estate). And Royal Mansion Ltd. RM stands for Royal Mansion which is 46a The Bishops Avenue in Hampstead, arguably the most vulgar house in London and is the home of Kazakh oligarch Hourieh Peramaa. I am grateful to @OneFinanceGuy for the above information. But there is more. Interior Architecture Landscape's first address was in BVI. Royal Mansion is owned by a BVI company Velocity Investment Holdings Limited. Being BVI I can't find any information, but could it be connected to Zia Yusuf who was director of Velocity Mobile, Velocity Black Travel Ltd, & Velocity Mobile Travel Ltd. Velocity Black is a luxury concierge app. The address in BVI of Velocity Investment Holdings is the same address as the company that set up Interior Architecture Landscape

Expect more silence from the Royal Society in the face of their most notorious fellow advocating for the overthrow of the democratically elected government of a country he is neither a citizen nor a resident of (yet he is a fellow of their most prestigious learned society).
