From our game industry family to yours happy holidays from the Dickens Fair!
Grateful to be surrounded by such brilliant, kind, creative people.
Sometimes the game industry feels chaotic and uncertain but moments like this remind me how much community matters.
Sending some joy to all my fellow devs, creators, and friends this season. 🎄

Newest article 😺 I'll def be playing this one when it comes out!
After playing two sections of The Lift, an upcoming first-person puzzle game, we think that fans of the puzzle genre will be refreshed by The Lift’s new take on problem-solving.

CloverPit caught my eye for its Balatro vibes, but fucked up and twisted and hilarious. (Also my cat is named Clover.) I'm really enjoying it! Hearty recommend for whenever it comes out. store.steampowered.com/app/3…
Are you a game dev in San Francisco? C'mon by the SF game dev social tomorrow night: partiful.com/e/hqChRyT2l2LGy…
Finally got an electric sit-stand desk and it's awesome... for gaming! I feel stronger already practicing tree pose while in WoW dungeons!
Omg I forgot to share one of my FAVOURITE PREVIEWS I HAVE EVER DONE. PowerWash Simulator 2!!!! ign.com/articles/powerwash-s…
Please tell me not to add yet another dress to my overstuffed wardrobe.

San Francisco was so dreamy in the beat days when they drawled “Frisco” and wrote poetry and got stoned out of their minds by the bonfire on wind-whipped beaches. These days we just wear cheaply made tech company hoodies and call it “Ess Eff.”
I watched True History of the Kelly Gang last night. Astonishing! An incredible interpretation of the Australian outlaw who was called a "hero," but I never actually knew why. Assuming True History was a semi-true account, I now think Ned was a total legend too.
Been thinking about Graveyard Keeper. What else should I play that also explores death and reanimation?
The word "stocks" is not in my vocabulary. The correct spelling is "stonks."
And yes, that means I absolutely correct strangers in Stormwind who are like "LF1M DPS STOCKS!"
Hi there Bay Area game devs! I run a monthly social for game devs in San Francisco. It's a chance to chill and casually meet fellow industry peeps. Last month was a blast 💥
The next event is on Wednesday July 16, a week from today. Hope to see you there! partiful.com/e/wqGPkARrfzSNp…

With all the layoffs happening, please try to avoid using passive language like “X was affected in the layoffs.” This is the sort of language that corporations want you to use because it absolves them of responsibility.
People weren’t “affected.” The company LAID THEM OFF.
You know, those dorky automated Happy Birthday emails you get from the dentist, dermatologist, ENT clinic etc actually made my day.
I'm playing on a WoW Classic Anniversary server and really leaning into the new-player experience again, right down to asking stupid questions constantly in guild chat. And people respond really kindly! I guess 20 years really softened up the former hardcore raiders.
Aww hell yeah it's FISHING FEST. store.steampowered.com/categ…
