I've known Daira-Emma since 2012. DE's work itself and the example of extreme quality in which it's performed (design, spec, docs, code writing, code review, with clear communication and nurturing of other contributors) are a gift to the world. Thank you!

This post by the Board of Directors of Bootstrap (Alan Fairless, Christina Garman, Zaki Manian, and Michelle Lai)—about me stepping down from the Board—is too kind. I’m humbled and honored to read it, but if you read it, know that the achievements are really due to the team. ⤵️

Bootstrap’s loss is the @Zcash community’s gain. While we will miss his leadership at Bootstrap, we’re thrilled that @zooko is refocusing his work on Zcash elsewhere, continuing to contribute his one-of-a-kind skills and energy to building momentum in a new project, further decentralizing development, and fortifying Zcash resilience.

If you let your company waste money, never look at margins, never negotiate with vendors, and allow expenses to recur regardless of use, a company will absorb fat infinitely until you have no money left.
The only way to fight that is to instill discipline to not waste.

Oklahoma plans to kill Richard Glossip on May 18. The state's own attorney general has said that this would be a "grave injustice," but other people in Oklahoma are determined to go ahead and kill him. Sound crazy? Keep reading; it gets crazier.
