We die from not having lived the stories we think we were made for.

Yesterday, around 11:40 PM, while returning from one meeting near #PuneAirport with a fellow colleague, I personally experienced a disturbing incident of road rage. An auto-rickshaw driver was driving erratically and first attempted to cut across a 2wheeler. The 2wheeler rider had to take evasive action to avoid a collision. The same auto driver then suddenly cut across our car, creating a potentially dangerous situation. Our driver simply asked him to drive carefully. Instead of responding calmly, the auto driver became aggressive, started using abusive language and attempted to provoke an argument with our driver. We chose not to engage and avoided further confrontation. This personal experience reinforces the concerns I raised earlier with authorities about increasing road rage, reckless driving and aggressive behaviour on Pune’s roads. I urge @CPPuneCity @PuneCityPolice, @DGPMaharashtra and @Dev_Fadnavis ji to strengthen traffic enforcement, respond promptly to citizens’ complaints and take preventive action. Citizens should not have to fear confrontation simply for asking someone to drive safely. Pune needs consistent enforcement before such incidents lead to serious consequences. #SafeDrive #Traffic #Enforcement #RoadRage

Someone asked me over the weekend about the permanent commission case for women in the Indian Army. Who fought for it? When did women officers get the rights? Frankly, it had slipped my mind. After checking with friends, this is what I learnt. Col Seema Singh, who retired recently, was at the forefront of the legal battle along with other fellow women officers to fight for permanent commission for women. The Supreme Court delivered a historic judgement in their favour in 2020. An Ordnance Corps officer, Col Seema is the only woman CO to get two Unit Citations for outstanding performance of her Unit during Operation Sindoor. Many belated congratulations to her

Finally it is happening! Became possible only due to the legal assistance provided by my son, @edgygoku1989 on the matter, and keeping me headache free since 2020
He built the invisible…but history remembers his impact. Today marks 58 years of R&AW and we're thrilled to announce our film on the story of R.N. Kao, the man who operated in the shadows & brought to light an institution we know today as R&AW - and its first mission. Based on the book Gentleman Spymaster by Nitin A. Gokhale, his story comes alive on big screens on 11 August, 2028.

They crossed rivers, brutal terrain and freezing Himalayan passes — evading Chinese patrols — to reach India. Tibetan refugees like Yeshi Dolma spent months on the journey, believing exile would be temporary. Decades later, many are still waiting to return home.

Experts talk about Chinese infrastructure in Tibet and its environmental impact. Important things for India to remember and learn from the flood destruction next door: don’t construct on ecologically sensitive areas. @nitingokhale @StratNewsGlobal @prof_nithiya @tibet_policy

Also @ZeptoNow must drop the facade now cause it definitely does not care about its customers. @zeptocares is a scam! Uninstall Zepto because they sell food items that are stale and will not take responsibility for it.
Last year @palkisu did a show on how Zepto actually manages their warehouses. The fact that they also show no shame in sending nearly expired products and slam the phone on your face brings this to light. Watch the episode here: youtu.be/zrD9LIH9Xp4?si=bwsC…
