Kudos to @airserver for their great customer support and for their EDU discounts to teachers. For teachers not familiar with AirServer, I use it to display my iPad onto my PC for screencasting or displaying on a projector.

I've been using goodnotes with airplay to a laptop for a number of years now to each my classes (since around 2013 I think). I find that connecting to a laptop using @airserver has been more reliable than using zoom's airplay server.

If you use a Mac and an iPad, you can use @GoodNotesApp on the iPad, combined with @AirServer on a Mac. AirServer lets you AirPlay your iPad to your Mac & then share over Zoom. Good Notes has an option to zoom in on your iPad, while students only see the full view at all times.

AirServer is a great tool to use in the classroom! (Esp when your board and pen aren’t 100% working!)Today @BHolton15 used it to review math homework with the Ss. We simply took a picture of the assignment and used “mark-up” to draw right on the photo! @airserver 🤩

This week I have mostly been absolutely LOVING @airserver. What an absolutely brilliant bit of software it is. Mirroring my own iPad and allowing me to do all of my “board” work directly into the appropriate @msonenote class notebook within the @MicrosoftTeams. 🙌🏻
