What’s next for Goodnotes on Android?
Goodnotes CEO @stevenchan joined Google Playtime 2026 in London to share how a native Android experience could help Goodnotes reach Android’s 3-billion-device ecosystem.
We’re always looking for ways to make Goodnotes better on Android and keep earning the trust and enthusiasm of our users. Delivering a robust Android experience takes a dedicated team, so a big thank-you to everyone at Goodnotes working on the app and shaping what comes next!
It was a pleasure to share @GoodnotesApp journey on @Android and what's to come. Thank you #GooglePlaytime for having me!

Today we're celebrating a milestone: Francis Chong becomes the first to cross the 10-year mark at Goodnotes.
I still remember when he first joined — within days he'd built a working prototype of the new Goodnotes architecture, the cross-platform sync and collaboration foundation that still shapes the product millions use today. And that was before AI!
Getting to work alongside someone for over a decade is a rare privilege. Grateful to have Francis as a colleague and a friend.
