Can you please share why you're not following up or pushing it up the line, seeing as there's a reference number? Also please share what the city cleaning fee is for that we're forced to pay?
I am unable to tell you how many times per week I report litter to @CityofCT in Sea Point. This reference of 9121623841 now greets us in abundance. Does anyone know anyone who knows @geordinhl who can advise what more I can do than my daily reporting on the App.
Would love to see one of those nice @geordinhl infographics on where @CityofCT cleaning tax is being spent - because its defs not in Sea Point.

All good and well, but getting from the airport on to the N2 is still a massive problem that needs solving.
Wonderful news! We’ve broken the 11 million mark for the first time! ✈️🇿🇦
The visitor economy brings many more jobs to Cape Town, and helps get more Capetonians out of poverty. That is our purpose!
Tourism in Cape Town is one of the only sectors of the SA economy growing at the rate needed to really bring unemployment down in our country. ✅
It is great to see more and more people coming to Cape Town for leisure and business. @Moneyweb
Hello @CityofCT I have constantly tried to buy electricity from @CheckersSA and am told 4/5 times that you are offline. Is this normal?
Mysteriously waiting for our @flysaa flight from São Paulo to be cleared for departure.
Still waiting. Also no headsets available on this @flysaa either as suppliers did not provide they say. So we sit on silence and stare at the screens and await approval to depart.

Hi @geordinhl, could we please focus on making the N2 a safer route in 2026. We see all the lovely things your team is doing, but many of us are literally risking our lives daily going to work.
We need action ASAP.

Spokesperson for City of Cape Town Law Enforcement, Wayne Dyason, says the man seen in a viral video has handed himself in. In the footage, a man believed to be a tourist guide is seen picking up the littered item and returning it to the driver, who then allegedly opens his car door and litters again. Littering is an offence in South Africa, with City of Cape Town by-laws providing for fines of up to R10,000 or imprisonment of between six months and two years. #Newzroom405

WANTED*
Via MMC JP Smith, @CityofCT
We're seeking the public's help to identify two people in a viral video.
A motorist tossed litter from their vehicle at an intersection in the CBD.
A tour guide approached, picked it up, and returned it – but the driver threw it out again and gave obscene gestures to the tour bus occupants 😡.
Littering's an offence under South Africa's environmental laws.
The driver could face a fine, and their vehicle might be impounded.
We need info on:
- The tour guide who tried to intervene
- The motorist in the video.
If you know anything, call us anonymously on 021-480 7700 or email wayne.dyason@capetown.gov.za.

It is painful to watch this enormous amount of water being wasted almost daily. Instead of sweeping, the hose is used for 1 - 2 hours and even to remove a single leaf because sweeping is too much effort.
Spoke to him and completed C3’s to CoCT but nothing happened. I have family well into their 80’s who carries rainwater in buckets to save water but then you have this exorbitant waste. Hose in one hand, the least amount of effort 🙄🤬🤬

I think it is disinformation. I hear @CyrilRamaphosa also says "misinformation," but what they are doing is disinformation. Misinformation is inaccurate & shared without intention to deceive. Disinformation is false, deliberately created & designed to manipulate, deceive and cause harm. And they have caused harm.

Some quick facts:
1. Kenyan nationals were raided for engaging in and processing the so called Afrikaner refugees.
2. These Kenyan nationals did not have the requisite working visa to conduct such work.
3. No American official was arrested.
4. No interference with the current US Afrikaner Programme.
Don’t fall for these lies peddled by Afriforum & likeminded organisations & people
#CountryDuty 🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦
Don’t fall for the scam!
I have just confirmed with U.S. officials that the South African authorities did indeed raid a U.S. refugee facility in Johannesburg yesterday, detaining U.S. staff who have been processing Afrikaner refugees. The applicants who were present on the premises were subjected to harassment and intimidation, despite not having transgressed any law.
@afriforum condemns this behaviour by the South African authorities. This behaviour shows a disregard for the human rights of the applicants present. Such conduct is not unexpected from a government that still refuses to condemn human rights abuses by those calling for the killing of Afrikaners through the “Kill the Boer” chant.

This statement is urgent, detailed and well-drafted.
That will of course not stop a barrage of tweets and "truths" to come our way
Home affairs statement on 7 Kenyans who came to South Africa illegally. #sabcnews
In case you are a worried as I am by the unserviced bins in Sea Point despite the rising city cleaning monthly tax and repeatedly reporting it to @CityofCT - an update on this morning’s escalation
