The horror of how microplastics can enter the marine food chain. The first arrow worm has eaten a round worm, the second has eaten a plastic microfiber that has blocked the passage of food (diatoms) in its gut. @zeiss_micro

Two weeks ago, #plastic was found in human blood. Now, it's been found deep in the lungs of living people for the first time. Remind us, why are we still using plastic? #breakfreefromplastic #turnoffthetap
