My son's favourite mobile game is Nintendo's Mario Kart Tour. Today he came to me asking me to fix it. It was only then that I found out that Nintendo has ended the game starting September 29, 2026. He thinks it is under maintenance and I don't know what to do. Just hope that he gets over it without any meltdowns #autiparent #autism @Nintendo

According to a recent a Middle East Eye investigation, HSBC's "sharia-compliant" fund spent over $100 million on five Israeli military-linked firms. How is that "sharia-compliant"?

I have no idea why, but YouTube is suddenly recommending a bunch of mostly AI-generated videos about the failure of various megaprojects in Saudi Arabia. I never searched for them—they just appeared in my feed. I'm wondering how the algorithm works. Is anyone else seeing these, or is there some kind of smear campaign targeting Saudi Arabia?

Scary.
🚨BREAKING : Indian Express launches surgical strike on Dictator MODI🔥🔥 Modi's government is so scared of your posts, it's deleting them faster than you can type 😡 The Indian Express got the data. Between March and July 2026, nearly 1.95 lakh blocking orders went to Instagram, Facebook and YouTube. That's around 1,275 every single day. One every 68 seconds. A year earlier, the same Home Ministry portal sent about 6 orders a day. Six. And when the story came out, the government's own "clarification" made it worse. It said the real number was nearly 2.98 lakh. One order can cover hundreds of posts and accounts. Meta has plugged its system straight into the Home Ministry's portal, so flagged posts can disappear without any human even reviewing them. Bro, my cousin posted a video of the broken road outside his house. Next morning it was gone. No reason, no notice. Now he doesn't post anything 😢 That's what they want. Today it's a meme, tomorrow it's your son's complaint about a paper leak. Modi ji, 56 inch chest, but scared of a 6 inch phone screen? 🔥🔥

I was by the beach, bright blue skies abd a cool breeze. And then I woke up with a sore throat. It was just a dream. Today we have an Air Quality Index (AQI) around 168 (unhealthy). My eyes are itchy and watering as well. When will the haze end?

In a reply to a post, I argued that the BJP government has undermined India’s secular foundations and encouraged religious fanaticism. My comment drew numerous responses, mostly from anonymous accounts. Many were insulting me, and several sprouted propaganda cut-and-paste stories. They literally proved my point. #India

Wishing them a lifetime of love, laughter, and happiness together. May their marriage be filled with wonderful memories and lasting joy!

I accidentally dropped my phone and cracked the screen today. I had been thinking of changing the phone, but this was not what I had in mind. I went into panic mode when I realised that I needed the phone to buy stuff and to make payments. Worse, I could not contact anybody. Rushed to Digital Mall at Sec 14 in PJ. First went to the Xiaomi outlet and found out that my phone was no longer covered by warranty. Moreover, they would need to order a new screen and it would take days before it could be replaced. Going around the place, I finally found a stall (Digital ZOne Solution Sdn Bhd) specialised in repairing phones. They did not have the original but could get one "as good as the original", and best of all, they could do it today. I went home, and waited. It was nearly hours later when I finally received the call to pick up the phone. I was already on the way because the mall closes around 8:45 and it was already 8:10pm. The total damage was RM360, which was much lower than I had expected. The relief I felt. We are so dependent on our phones and it is scary.

I hate going to the dentist. So much so that the last time I visited one was 3 years ago – despite fillings falling out, toothaches, etc. Until finally I had a huge cavity in one of my wisdom teeth and I had to visit my friendly neighbourhood dentist. Today was my second LCT visit, with injections and drilling, and unfortunately the tooth could not be saved. Hopefully with the crown on, the tooth will last another 10-15 years. As for the rest, I have to decide - implant or dentures. Each will cost on average around RM5000 each. Might be slightly cheaper at the Govt. hospitals, but I do not want the long waits and students practising on me. So my advice is don't wait. See the dentist at least twice a year, even if you don't have any tooth issues.

In 1967 Britain had more electric vehicles on its roads than every other country on earth put together, and they were all delivering milk. There were tens of thousands of them. The milk float: open sided, battery under the floor, top speed of about 15 miles an hour, and a whine you could pick out in your sleep. It was charged overnight at the depot and was back there by lunchtime. It carried glass bottles. Each one was collected from your step the next morning, washed and refilled. A bottle went round like that 20 or 30 times before it broke. The foil cap went for scrap. There was no other packaging. The milk had come from farms within a few miles, through a local dairy, and was on the step before 7. So here is what the country had. A zero-emission delivery fleet. Reusable containers with a return rate any modern scheme would kill for. No plastic. A supply chain you could cycle the length of. A man who noticed if an old lady's bottles were piling up, and knocked. It was dismantled in about 15 years, because a supermarket could sell milk a few pence cheaper in a plastic jug as a way of getting you through the door. Every piece of that system is now the subject of a government target for 2040. It was running in 1967, silently, in the dark, and nobody thought it was worth a mention.
