Malaya term is normally used by east malaysian till today to identify semenanjung people.i think when designer used The Malaya as concept.borneo get it as semenanjung only. But most semenanjung i think (at least for me)identify east malaysian people as sarawakian or sabahan.

We dont have specific term for borneo people. As we ( me atlest) see them as people from this negeri ..not as a whole people. To be honest when i heard sarawakian called me and my friend as org malaya ..i feel awkward like im from other country.
