This is one of the advantages we have over build123d etc.
KCL programs are deterministic. Every time you run the same KCL you get the same results. This means your CAD models are stable. Rerun the file file, get the same model. This is possible with Python and JS CAD libraries, but it’s tricky and requires careful discipline.

The Girls reboot should be about the girls competing to translate the Voynich manuscript and finding their sense of reality warped by the text's mysterious power

my daughter was sick today so she stayed home from school. watched some Avatar: The Last Airbender. Then tonight we played Aang and Appa (she climbs on me piggyback, says "yip yip" and I fly her around the house)

Babe take a look at this. There came into a certain shop a famed chanteuse desirous of purchasing a mechanical Bird, yet the shopkeep, deeming her of graceless bearing and humble station, would not suffer the clockwork creature to pass into her possession

Someone asked me if I had Starlink. No dude. I'm not a barbarian. I live in a city. I have fiber to my house like a civilized man. I don't live on the mesa five days of hard riding from the nearest village.

many arguments for 9 being prime: isn't even 9/2=4.5, not a whole number odd number not a multiple of two pairing 9 socks leaves 1 9=2*N has no solution in the integers last digit not 0, 2, 4, 6, or 8 9 mod 2 != 0 only a single argument against: 9=3*3 on balance, clearly prime

the thing about australians and kiwis living abroad is that they voluntarily left two of the most beautiful, livable places on earth. you are not dealing with normal levels of ambition.

It's machine learning when you ask the computer questions. It's artificial intelligence when the computer asks you questions.

There must be a bug with Zookeeper. There's no way this is an optimal arrangement of 17 squares???

Packing squares seems to be having its moment, so I took a crack at it... I found 25 new square packing records using evolutionary LLM program search, similar to AlphaEvolve.

companies are really debating whether to rebrand Artificial Intelligence to Super Intelligence when the people who actually know ball are calling it The Machine-God Child Who Will Save Our Species Or Doom It

new post: collecting favours sunilpai.dev/posts/collectin… a post on the idea of "reputation". tried writing it a few times as an abstract thing and I hated it, so instead I just wrote about my dad.

So sad when you see a 30-year-old endlessly complaining on here. The world is yours babe. I hate to hand it to tpot but you can, in fact, just do things.

The cost of experimenting and prototyping with software has gone down 99%. That means you should be making lots of tiny experiments and prototypes! But only ~10% of those experiments should become PRs. And only ~10% of those PRs should be merged.

It's such a game-changer to have product vibe-code a working, interactive prototype rather than send you a bunch of Figma slides or wireframes. Don't ship their prototypes into production though. SWEs should either polish or throw away + reimplement the prototype. Then ship that.

vibe coding does not replace software development, it replaces Figma/wireframes.
