Protip when online shopping for items you might usually pick up at a store... DO NOT PURCHASE THROUGH @Dyson #Canada. So far this week I’ve spent 3 hours by phone and chat trying to locate a $1000 order. No two answers are the same re: order status or shipping address 🙃🤦🏽‍♂️

A lot of testing is focused on the input and processing and storage of data. Very little critical thinking is applied to the question of whether the data is any good: valid, clean, accurate, reliable, faithfully representing what it should...

Soooooo our entire team got laid off with no notice, on a monday- and they didn't even reach out to let us know it was coming. So there are some great people today looking for pentesting work. I'm among them, and looking to work with a skilled team. Retweets are appreciated.

2) If we were really investigating change-related risk, we would review checks (and requirements and specs and user documentation...) for their relevance, accuracy, precision, etc., with respect to the now-changed production code. It seems to me that rarely happens.

1) An often-forgotten dimension of testability is "unbugginess". We perform a test. Upon finding a bug, we investigate and report. This interrupts the time that we have to perform other tests. Paradox: the more bugs we find, investigate, and report, the less time we have to test!
