The people who sponsored the attack and the assassins who attempted Sowore’s life are well known. Despite efforts to destroy evidence, videos from witnesses are surfacing. Nigeria Police Force Ekiti Command, for example, where’s this guy captured in this video? Is he part of the 11 you claimed have been arrested as suspects connected to the assassination attempt?

Falana asks police to arrest, arraign ‘well-known’ thugs who attacked Sowore in Ekiti
Femi Falana, a senior advocate of Nigeria (SAN), has asked the Ekiti state police command to arrest and arraign the thugs who allegedly attacked Omoyele Sowore, presidential candidate of the African Action Congress (AAC).
In a statement issued on Sunday, Falana said the thugs who attacked Sowore in Ekiti are “well known”.

BREAKING: MAJOR BREAKTHROUGH AS CHILLING ATTACK VIDEO REVEALS FACES OF ATTACKERS IN BRUTAL ASSAULT ON @SOWORE, TEAM IN ADO-EKITI
Fresh video evidence has emerged showing the faces of individuals identified as participants in the October 30, 2026, armed attack on leaders and me, as well as members of the African Action Congress (AAC) and members of his team in Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti State, who assaulted one of our team members.
The breakthrough comes amid disturbing revelations that CCTV recordings from Tawakalitu Restaurant, where the attack occurred, have reportedly been completely erased after police officers and the DSS took possession of the equipment and took it to Government House only to return it this evening without any images.
Today, I contacted the Ekiti State Commissioner of Police, Michael Falade; the Ado-Ekiti Central Police Station DPO, Mustapha Mohammed; and the state's Rapid Response Squad (RRS) Commander to demand updates on the investigation.
Shockingly, the officers claimed there was "no complainant" because I had not submitted a written statement, despite police rescuing the victims, taking them to their hospital, arresting suspects, and recovering weapons, stolen phones, and other devices.
I questioned the officers about stolen phones electronically traced to the Governor's Lodge and the missing CCTV recordings; they denied knowledge and abruptly ended their conversations.
In another development, Tawakalitu Restaurant management reportedly confirmed that a DPO returned the CCTV equipment, but the recordings had been completely wiped. The management refused to identify the officer responsible for returning the equipment.
This is an indication of a coordinated cover-up by the @PoliceNG hierarchy in Ekiti State
However, the newly recovered video provides crucial leads in identifying individuals involved in the attack.
Their identities and roles need a credible independent body to investigate, and we call for the removal of the CP and other officers involved in the cover-up.

EKITI POLICE ARREST 11 SUSPECTS OVER ATTACK ON OMOYELE SOWORE IN ADO-EKITI; INVESTIGATION CONTINUES.
The Ekiti State Police Command has arrested eleven (11) suspects in connection with the alleged attack on Mr Omoyele Sowore, an African Action Congress (AAC) presidential aspirant, and other persons at Tawakalitu Restaurant, Dalimore Area of Ado-Ekiti.
Operatives of the Rapid Response Squad(RRS), based on a credible tip-off swooped on the hideouts of the suspects at Atikankan Area of Ado-Ekiti at about 10:00 p.m. on Friday, October 30, 2026, where they were arrested.
The suspects are: Joseph Tayo '32yrs', Olatunji Abayomi '41yrs', Isaac Amba '22yrs', Kehinde Ajigbana '18yrs', Tosin David '18yrs', Solomon Iyanu '18yrs', Ogunsola Ayomide '21yrs', Ojo Ayodeji '22yrs', Kayode Dada '32yrs', Segun Olatunji '28yrs' and Salami Emmanuel '53yrs'.
Items recovered include two walkie-talkies, substances suspected to be Indian hemp and Colorado, two Indian hemp crushers, one pack of Rizla, seven ATM cards, thirteen mobile phones, two vehicle keys, one flash drive, one 5G MTN Wi-Fi device, identity cards, eight international passports, three complimentary cards, two suspected criminal charms, one gas lighter and ₦250.
The suspects are in police custody, while investigations are ongoing to establish their individual roles, determine their possible connections with the attack and identify other persons involved.
The Commissioner of Police, CP Falade Adegoroye Michael, assures the public that the Command will leave no stone unturned in ensuring that all those found culpable are brought to justice. He also reiterates the Command's commitment to protecting lives and property and maintaining peace and security across Ekiti State, irrespective of political affiliations.
Members of the public are urged to remain calm and provide credible information that could assist the ongoing investigation.
Further developments will be communicated accordingly. Meanwhile, the Command wishes to reconfirm that all the victims, including Mr Sowore, have received medical attention, been treated and discharged from the hospital.

A journalist asked Sowore today why he thinks he is a threat to the government.
Perhaps the question should be directed to those who have repeatedly arrested him, detained him, pursued him into court and restricted his movement.
I begin,
3 August 2019 - Arrested by DSS operatives at a hotel in Lagos ahead of the planned #RevolutionNow protests.
6 December 2019 - Rearrested by the DSS following a confrontation inside the Federal High Court, Abuja, a day after his release on bail.
24 December 2019 - Released from DSS detention, nearly five months after his initial arrest, with a brief release before his rearrest.
1 January 2021 - Arrested by police in Abuja alongside four others.
4 January 2021 - Remanded in Kuje prison by an Abuja magistrate’s court.
31 May 2021 - Injured during a police crackdown on a protest in Abuja. A police officer shot him with a tear-gas canister.
2019–February 2024 - Restricted for almost 5 years to Abuja based on the baseless treason prosecution witch hunt from APC, which was eventually discontinued by the Federal Government.
15 September 2024 -Detained by immigration officials upon arrival at Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos. His passport was seized.
27 January 2025 - Detained after honouring a police invitation in Abuja over his social-media criticism of Inspector-General Kayode Egbetokun.
23 October 2025 - Arrested by police at the Federal High Court, Abuja, where he had attended Nnamdi Kanu’s trial.
24 October 2025 - Granted bail by a Kuje magistrate’s court, then reportedly rearrested at the court premises while his release papers were being processed.
27 October 2025 - Released from Kuje prison after four days in detention.
22 June 2026 - Ordered remanded in Kuje Correctional Centre by the Federal High Court, Abuja. Armed, hooded DSS operatives attacked and assaulted him in the court building while he awaited correctional officers.
30 October 2026 - Attacked by APC sponsored thugs, in connivance with DSS and the Police.

This morning, we tracked two of the devices violently robbed from members of our team during the brutal attack in Ado-Ekiti on Friday, October 30, 2026, and the locations are deeply disturbing.
One phone was traced to a location directly opposite the office of the Executive Governor of Ekiti State, while our other devices were located opposite Fajuyi Park in Ado-Ekiti.
Meanwhile, the Nigeria Police Force @PoliceNG and the @OfficialDSSNG have yet to release the CCTV footage seized from Tawakalitu Restaurant, where we were attacked.

This is the level of infamy to which Nigeria has been subjected! Those who brutally attacked us in Ado-Ekiti today came from the Government House @ekitistategov. They are well known, and they were provided with tracking and operational support by the @OfficialDSSNG.
Since our arrival yesterday, DSS operatives have been trailing and harassing us. They even threatened the manager of the first place where we ate, warning him never to allow us to use his premises again.
