As much as I love playing shows irl I really miss the virtual raves we put on in minecraft during the pandemic. It was so much work but so fun, and we were doing some really cutting edge shit with the live visuals

Can’t thank the firefighters, first responders, and law enforcement enough for risking their lives for all of us in Los Angeles.

DJing is the great equalizer
Of The Trees@OfTheTrees27 Dec 2024
Learning the basics of DJing is easy and anyone with a fundamental understanding of rhythm and a decent library of music could competently play an hour long set after just a week or two of practice

The first time we saw @WhatSoNot was at a 100-person venue in 2016 in Dunedin 🇳🇿. We talk about it at least twice a year and still think it is one of the best shows we've been to (and not just because he fed us shots).

I’m honestly loving playing small clubs over big festivals. It feels connected, honest, raw, more daring. It feels real

It’s been a slow year as we focus on our full time jobs but we’ve managed to grow, release tunes on our favorite labels with our favorite friends, do a tour across Europe and play an island rave at sunrise 🌄 Thank you all 🫡

TikTok mash up djs putting up huge tours while some iconic bands/artists are canceling tours due to logistics/budgets we are truly in the dark ages. Sometimes it feels like we have dug ourselves too deep

Underground electronic music should never sound too clean. It needs to have that vibe as though it were made in a bedroom somewhere with cheap hardware and cracked software
