Recent hate crimes shook Asian America, but such discrimination has existed for generations. The American Dream is at risk. Time for action. Thank you @ellenmcgirt & @FortuneMagazine for the opportunity to say something. #StopAsianHate @StopAAPIHate fortune.com/2021/03/23/1955-…

Proud to support this new film from @KenOno691, who previously helped bring The Man Who Knew Infinity to life — a film that meant a great deal to Aria.
Maryam Mirzakhani’s story belongs in that lineage. Inspiring, heartbreaking, essential.
RIP #CharlieMunger, who invited me to dinner - despite his disdain for VCs. Wish I had met this kindred spirit & mentor years sooner. We discussed @1955capital fixing the broken #VC model, humble beginnings & dear mentors like @vkhosla. #BerkshireHathaway bit.ly/3T4cWah
Talking with Gordon Moore, founder of @intel, years ago helped shape my current view on #innovation. Predictable experience curves like Moore’s Law united in novel ways create unpredictable outcomes. Thanks for your contributions to humankind, Gordon.

I had the tremendous honor of hosting @JaneGoodallInst for #ClimateWeek with @tetonscience. Jane’s relentless energy at 88 inspired #hope in difficult times for 700 souls. She motivated us to do more for conservation & revitalize the human spirit for exploration. Unforgettable. – at Los Altos, CA
#LunarEclipse from Jackson Hole, Wyoming shot on a Canon R5. Clear skies in the Tetons made the magical event all the more spectacular. #Astrophotography #BloodMoon
Deeply saddened by the loss of @Madeleine, a true beacon of hope for democracy and champion for global partnerships. Our last dinner together in 2015 helped inspire @1955Capital’s ultimate mission, and we will continue to serve in her memory as we create a new global future.
Congrats to @1955Capital portfolio co. @NaturesFynd on their upcoming @WholeFoods debut! We’re thrilled to see the impact Fy Protein continues to make in the alternative protein market. #naturesfynd #sustainability #climatetech

This news further confirms that investors see the incredible potential for fermentation technology to transform the way we feed the world––especially in regions like China that are facing a protein shortage. Early Nature's Fynd investor @achung explains: andrewchung1955.medium.com/1…
Congrats @NaturesFynd for raising $350M. I’m grateful & humbled that the founders chose 1955 as Series A lead in 2018. Their incredible vision is unchanged: to build the next great sustainable food company & impact the lives of millions around the globe. andrewchung1955.medium.com/1…

As a 1st generation Taiwanese American, I relate to this. Shared experiences of Asian American friends (of women & men, young & old, new immigrants & those born in USA) made it easier for us to launch campaigns to support #StopAsianHate efforts & #BLM last yr. #stopallhate – at Woodside, CA

Excited @1955Capital company @naturesfynd was featured on @60Minutes. @andersoncooper liked the food & @BillGates wasn’t sure he could tell these products were animal-free. We're privileged to be the 1st lead investor & part of the bright journey ahead!
Bill Gates and @andersoncooper taste test sausage and yogurt products made from a microbe-based protein. It’s one of the innovations that Gates is backing as a way to reduce reliance on cattle, which account for about 4% of greenhouse gases. cbsn.ws/2N6Vi6b
