This problem starts way upstream. College players aren't really being developed under a specific system anymore. They just go where there's any semblance of playing time, especially with quarterbacks.
Everything's so watered-down since high school recruiting is an afterthought these days. It's not about pro-readiness. It's every man for himself.
You make the same argument for some high school programs as well.
