🚨 We are urging the public to be vigilant as we have been made aware that people have received calls from scammers purporting to be Merseyside Police and asking for payment over the phone. It was reported the calls appeared to be from a genuine Merseyside Police switchboard number, 0151 709 6010, but that the offenders had likely used caller ID spoofing. Most identified it as a scam and did not disclose sensitive information, but one caller did transfer a significant quantity of money. 👉 The offenders claimed to be officers or Cyber Crime officers from Merseyside Police and claimed someone had been arrested with the victim's ID, passport or personal details; that the victim was linked to a cyber crime investigation; that property had been seized during police riads containing the victim’s details and that cryptocurrency accounts had been compromised. Using fake officer names, collar numbers and crime references, the offenders asked questions in an effort to extract information about cryptocurrency held, banking arrangements, personal details and online accounts. An investigation is underway and CCTV and witness enquiries are being carried out into the incidents. Remember, the police will never ⬇️ ❌ Ask you to move money ❌ Ask for passwords ❌ Ask for your bank account details Never provide personal details to the person on the phone if you have any doubts over who is calling you. If you suspect someone is impersonating a police officer please contact us. Anyone with information which could assist the investigation should message us on social media @MerPolCC quoting reference number 919 of 12 October. 🚨 Fraud crime prevention advice can be found on the Merseyside Police website, or on the Report Fraud site at: orlo.uk/LvDj9 You can report fraud to us here: orlo.uk/DNLtI

Continuous data collection is crucial for evaluating intervention success in public health. Under the Reduction of Neonatal and Maternal Mortality Ratio Project—funded by @gatesfoundation and implemented by @LSTMnews—@NOIPolls conducts 2nd Follow-up Facility Data Collection Training. Building on insights from previous rounds, the scope of facility data collection has been strategically narrowed from 30 states down to 13 focal states. This focused approach enables deeper assessment and more targeted insights into health facility preparedness and mortality reduction. #PublicHealth #DataCollection #MaternalAndChildHealth #HealthcareImpact #ResearchAndDevelopment #NOIPolls

Attending the #IMNHC2026. Every year, millions of preventable maternal & newborn deaths occur due to poor quality care that is unsafe or ineffective. Quality #MNH care saves lives, but only when it reaches everyone, consistently and equitably. #QualityOfCare @MOH_Kenya @UNFPAKen
