Proud of @THP_hospital on championing language concordant care. Evidence shows that when patients receive care in their preferred language, there is greater adherence to management plans, lower risk of medical errors, readmissions & no show rates. #languagematters
#DYK: In Mississauga, over 33% of the population speaks a non-official language as their first language.
Using the Voyce app, THP patients can speak directly to a medically-trained interpreter who speaks their language.
