I’m working with a team that's “all in” on agentic coding. Lots of skills, instructions, subagents, hooks, etc.
But I just noticed they’re not running their tests on CI.
Takeway: AI makes it easier to do stuff. But it doesn’t assure you’ll do the right stuff, or do it well.
That’s still your job.

Keeping up with PHP means checking a dozen sites, the internals list, the wiki, and a pile of GitHub repos. Until now, no single place made it easy to keep up with the language, so @mattstauffer and I decided to do something about it.
Today we’re launching @phpnewsnet.

Just caught up with the most recent news - minio going paid. That's good-happy to see success. But removing docker hub images? why do this? Removes the trust of considering the paid version. Unless, I misunderstand something, this is an asshole move. reddit.com/r/minio/comments/…

Have you ever had someone review your pull request, make changes without telling you, and just merge it in? In this week's podcast, Aaron and I discuss whether the traditional code review workflow still makes sense when AI tooling lets us move faster than ever. masteringlaravel.io/daily/20…
I've always been a fan of E2E testing, but never prioritized it ahead of my unit tests. The programming landscape has changed, now I'm doing something differently: aaronsaray.com/2026/end-to-e…
Doing a code review right now. Still looking at the #laravel docs - even when the ai-reviewer says something. It's been wrong twice now. Docs still king <3
I liked this article about one developer migrating to Laravel's new Head package. Bonus points for the "what I'd do differently" section so I know how to begin: danielpetrica.com/laravel-he…
cherrilang.org/ I didn't realize there was a scripting "language" for shortcuts - it compiles down to them - signs them - and even has some decompiling steps back to CherriLang - nice!
When working with things like Stripe, I always mocked out as much as I could - and had an 'external' test suite that would call real live end points in a sandbox - those were ran rarely. This article talks about this same concept but with AI now, love it: mujahidabbas.dev/blog/larave…
