IMO The presidential candidate that will guza civil servants would be the most radical one ever.
Most of our problems start with them. Both in terms of accountability and performance reforms, or overhaul the entire structure of PnP employment?

I did it but the got too excited and wrote too much. So I broke it into 2 articles. The 1st is setting the scene and exploring the avenues for economic value. The next article, I will focus on what moves beyond the competitions to the careers, enterprises and tech surrounding sport. shorturl.at/4JWS6

I saw people get shot on the streets, we were teargassed and beaten by the police. No amount of accountability will ever take that away. I'll always remember that. I'll also remember the role he has played in Sudan, drc.. And even all the murders he's been involved in

Lol! And its worse if they don’t know you or you are not a member of the various church groups. Its no wonder our parents made it a point to belong to the church in some capacity….

THIS WAS the moment overzealous policemen without uniforms pounced on a handful of unarmed picketers, mindlessly grabbing anyone in sight including our reporter Ode Francis. The manhandling of Ode and the activists was lawless, unwarranted and primitive. Besides innocent persons like our reporter Ode falling victim, such barbaric swoops by rogue, unidentified, so-called ‘plainclothes police’ on protesters or picketers violate the law and the Constitution. @NPSOfficial_KE @InteriorKE STOP IT.

1. The settler community in Kenya was overall very much less radical.. in that it was formed from the upper parts of British society, which are more progressive by default. Unlike Rhodesia, which was built by lower classes.
2. Kenya was not a self-governing colony like Southern Rhodesia that had a practical status like Canada or Australia and a military that was not under the command of London. In 1965, the Southern Rhodesia military had the same status as the South African military.. it was its own thing. Fully under settler control.
Kenya had no such military and as such.. no, the settler community was in no way "determined" to maintain position as they knew that they couldn't do anything. A few noise makers don't = the majority when discussing Kenyan settlers at the end of empire.

So is Waiguru saying Sifuna should first go to Chatham House, like she did, where she was told she would be Kenya's Kamala Harris?
Anne Waiguru: Let me give you one example that made me know that Sifuna still needs time. When they were deciding on the party to run, his closest allies, who hold his hands up, he could not convince them to abandon their parties for his. That is a capacity issue. Ruto, when he was still DP, convinced over 100 MPs to go with him and help him with the presidency. Ruto has the money and the machinery, so if you don’t have it, what are you doing running for president? #CitizenSundayLive
