When you talk about NATO Expansion, you are referring to the act of countries begging and screaming to join NATO as soon as they were allowed to because they were tired of being invaded and fucked with by Russia for centuries, you think this is bad because you like Russia
Nobody is saying “Russia good,” and throwing around the “campist” label just because I look at global power structures is so lazy. I know Russian imperial history. But this specific war is happening in the context of post-Soviet reality, not the 19th century. Pointing out decades of US and NATO encirclement since 1991 isn't ignoring their past, it’s analysing the material world we actually live in today. Take your bullshit somewhere else.

The manipulation of data they tried to pull off in the UK "antisemitism" report is so forward it's almost offensive they thought people wouldn't notice. "Are you just as open to having Jewish friends as you are to have friends from other parts of British society? is NOT the same question as: "Are you comfortable spending time with people who openly support Israel?" They tried to use the answers to these two VERY different questions- the first posed in 2020 and the second one in 2026 - as "evidence" that antisemitism is on the rise in the UK. And even then they STILL had to admit that it's criticism of ISRAEL that's on the rise, NOT bias against Jewish people.

NATO was preparing to invade Russia so aggressively that most members spent less than 2% of GDP on defence, the EU produced fewer artillery shells annually than Russia could fire in a week in 2022, and Germany, Europe's largest economy, had fewer than 185,000 active-duty troops

Here is an article from 2019, Very funny to look at hindsight but also a reminder that despite it being true Zelenskyy was relatively soft on Russia compared to Poroshenko, Putin still decided to invade nevertheless

1. The entire right of British politics is allowed to say all the time, including on LBC, unchallenged, that Labour is catering to and afraid of ‘sectarian Muslims’ and no one says anything. 2. The Board of Deputies is an influential lobby group. Pointing that out isn’t the same as saying the UK government is ‘controlled by Jews’ which would of course be antisemitic. 3. The leader of the Green Party is Jewish.
Just the leader of the Green Party reposting suggestions the government is being controlled by Jews…

And they deserve it In fact Trump should win the midterm and completely devastate their lives so they lose everything
Andy Beshear: I've got soybean farmers. 100% of them voted for Trump. They lost their first client in USAID. Linda McMahon canceled the farm-to-cafeteria program. Trump's tariff pushed China away. All of your farm machinery runs on diesel. And finally, a third of the world's fertilizer passes through the Strait of Hormuz. They are on the verge of declaring bankruptcy.

I welcome a steelman explanation of why, if the west was so interested in attacking or otherwise boxing in Russia *prior to its invasion of Ukraine* we have not yet done so in the wake of it.

Russians invaded Ukraine because they were imminently threatened by the idea of Ukraine joining an organization that would make it harder for them to invade Ukraine.
For real. But it’s not even just liberals, so many people on the left do this as well. Honestly, Russia is a huge litmus test for me. The whole situation is way more complicated than just regurgitating the establishment line of 'Russia bad' without looking at the broader context, and you cannot understand the crisis without looking at decades of NATO expansion. Like, are we actually analysing the world through a lens of global power structures, or are you just repeating what you see on the mainstream news?

Ronan Farrow reported in 2023 that the Pentagon signed a SpaceX contract to keep Musk from being able to cut off Ukraine’s battlefield connectivity at will. Colin Kahl described it as a way to lock in service so Musk couldn’t just flip the switch. WSJ now reports U.S. officials say Musk ordered the Oct. 14 Starshield slowdown anyway, after speaking with Trump. If that reporting holds, the guardrail didn’t hold.
1/3 Musk ordered last week's slowdown of Starshield, which Ukraine fights on, after talking with Trump, per @WSJ. In '23 the Pentagon signed a contract with SpaceX to “prevent Musk from turning off the switch," per fmr Under Sec of Defense Colin Kahl. newyorker.com/magazine/2023/…

There’s a lady on TikTok making her points around black networking events in the UK. Beyond whether I agree or disagree with her, I just think the elephant in the room is regardless of industry, there simply aren’t that many black ppl in positions of real influence in the U.K.

the author of this book found about this in 2020, and then held the information for six years while kushner returned to his powerful position when trump was elected again. another "journalist" choosing book royalties over action.
Jared Kushner’s hacked phone revealed he promised MBS and MBZ he would push their agenda with Trump if they participated in a secret fund, with the two royals initially discussing over $10B before ultimately placing at least $2B into his accounts. archive.ph/2026.10.22-215102…

I think telling broke people not to have kids as a privileged person can be mean advice against Many children advise against Children as an investment poor people deserve the right to exist as much as rich people.. they deserve the right to suffer from their bad choices too
