Hi, I’ve participated in a lot of documentaries, like 15. I am not reading the @elizabethholmes thing like any of you. I know this is going to upset people, but please at least listen to my reasoning and consider if you are being manipulated in the way this was edited together.
I’m not an actress. But when you participate in a documentary, particularly one with moving cameras, you’re essentially on set trying to behave as one. The producers are asking questions to try to evoke an emotion on cue.
So you’re essentially having a surreal experience of trying to act your own life. You’re trying to be honest and genuine in what you’re feeling. But the format of what you’re participating requires holding poses, waiting for lights to be set up, repeating takes and giving the producers the emotional sound bites they’re asking for.
I think it’s that surreal quality that comes across here. This shot didn’t magically happen. They set it up and she’s obviously been on the set all day trying to answer the same questions.
It feels artificial because shooting a documentary is artificial. It only feels natural with the editing later. They have chosen to not do that.
I like Nathan Fielder, but if he’s famous for anything, it’s for uncomfortable silence, and forcing his interview subjects to fill it. That’s so clearly what he’s doing in this clip.
Again, I’m not an Elizabeth Holmes defender. But I feel like y’all are so eager to see the worst in her, you’re unwilling to consider the total situation.
After analyzing +10,000 Linkedin profiles, several podcast appearances and countless support tickets of people complaining about their [low] slop score 😅, I've now evolved Slopometer into:
- An API anyone can use to score slop
- A browser extension that scores Linkedin slop "live" in the browser.
Check it out at slopometer.dev/, more to come!

I just had to try it... 😅 I present you the @walls_io TUI client! ❤️ It even supports video, maps, images...
Replying to @browsercompany
@browsercompany Is there any chance you have plans to make "Site Search" fully work in Dia ? ( mean the way it works in Chrome/Arc, entering a shortcute and then TAB out...) 🥹
Friday check: how many of your connections posted "Excited to share..." this week?
Score them before they score you 👀 slopometer.ai

LinkedIn says their new AI catches 94% of slop posts. (source: bit.ly/4doyRTm)
Are you in the 6%? Or are you the problem?
Find out before their algorithm does: slopometer.ai
LinkedIn admitted it lost control of its own feed. They trained AI to detect the slop their algorithm rewarded in the first place (source: bit.ly/4doyRTm)…
The cure and the disease came from the same place.
Check any profile's slop score: slopometer.ai
Friday challenge: find me a LinkedIn "thought leader" who scores clean on the Slop'o'Meter. I'll wait.
(Spoiler: it's harder than you think.)

Hot take: the best LinkedIn content scores LOW on the Slop'o'Meter. Turns out "authentic" and "sounds like a robot summarizing a TED talk" are detectable opposites.

Uhhh finally got exposed to the @openai goblins! 🦎

New team building exercise just dropped: run your colleagues through the Slop'o'Meter and compare LinkedIn slop scores.
Warning: friendships have been lost over this.

LinkedIn in 2026: where every post starts with "I'm humbled to announce" and ends with "Agree? 👇"
The Slop'o'Meter detects exactly how much of that is AI-generated paste. Some results are... devastating.
