Very thankful to have my path to medicine covered by my alma mater, @UWBioE. Many thanks to Marissa Lorberau who received everything I shared and wrote this up so thoughtfully. Please check out the article here: bioe.uw.edu/the-circuitous-p…

Having to pat myself down every time I entered the MRI scanner room has made me really efficient at TSA.

I also found this (not mine) deep in my drawers. I found the irony very amusing.
Clearing out my PhD desk. 🥲 And I stumbled upon these fortune cookie notes. I got two of the same in two different cookies once. Also, these are perhaps the wisest fortune cookie statements I have ever encountered, and I thought they were quite fitting for a PhD student.
It has been an absolute joy and privilege. Thank you @DrVigneron_Ucsf @UCSFHMTRC ⁦@BioE_Beast ⁦⁦@UCSFimaging⁩ ⁦⁦@UCSF_BTS⁩ @BerkeleyBioE⁩ and all who made this possible.

If one doesn’t exist yet, can someone please create a board game where ATP is the currency and you strategically generate it through glycolysis, beta-oxidation, and the like, all in response to various chance-situations of abundant glucose or stress/starvation?

Congrats on the research publication! @jonathanpkarr @nathanwpyle
What if enhancers worked w/o contacting promoters? What if functional PTMs were on diffusible proteins, not histones? And what if diffusion, not looping, bridged CREs to their targets? We think it's possible. Check out our new perspective to see how: genesdev.cshlp.org/content/e…

"Each volunteer was asked to hold their bread as long as comfortable." I haven't even finished Draft #1. It's too soon for typos like this.

This macro lens is crazy! You can even use it to see human skin tissue! Just kidding. 🙄 It’s actually the retina. (5/n)

A free electrolyte drink mix I received labels itself as, "Hydration Multiplier Powered by Cellular Transport Technology." Rather than being impressed with their supposed state-of-the-art technology, I'm rather a little scared... Which membrane transporters are you hijacking??

I have discovered try and catch ME statements in @MATLAB. The automation it provides is nice. The pun is better.
