AlphaRidge is putting Bittensor’s decentralized AI to work in financial markets, turning vast amounts of news into structured intelligence that traders can use alongside price and volume data. Here’s why that matters. Behind @alpharidge_ai is Subnet 45, a network that processes financial news and verifies the results before they feed into the platform. ▶️ Miners identify assets and tradeable tickers, assess sentiment, and extract key details from financial stories. ▶️ Related articles are grouped into real-world events and longer-running narratives, helping users follow developments beyond individual headlines. ▶️ Validators independently check sampled results, with only verified processing volume counting toward rewards. AlphaRidge integrates these signals into its charts, screener, news feeds, AI analyst and API, allowing users to investigate sentiment shifts and event activity alongside market data. The result is a practical use of decentralized AI, with news intelligence built directly into a trading platform that is already live and serving paying customers. Decision Models may be much bigger than chatbots. Florian explains why these smaller models could power millions of fast, cheap decisions inside everyday software, and why Bittensor could be a natural home for them. Read the full conversation 👇 taodaily.io/florian-explains…

Interesting explainer on the newly proposed eTAO. GREAT READ. 👍
Before now, every Bittensor subnet followed the same reward distribution: 🔹 41% to miners 🔹 41% to validators & stakers 🔹 18% to subnet owners But not every subnet has the same needs. That's what eTAO (Expressive TAO) is changing. Let's break it down. $TAO 🧵

One of the biggest GTM mistakes subnet teams make is waiting too long to start marketing. They spend weeks/months working on the subnet mechanism, mining infrastructure, docs, GitHub, incentives and everything else needed to get the subnet running. Then launch day approaches and suddenly marketing becomes urgent. The expectation is that a few banger announcements, podcast and community campaigns will create excitement, make the subnet popular, and somehow carry that momentum forward. Most of the time, it does not work that way. The subnet gets some attention at launch, people talk about it for a few days, and then the excitement gradually disappears. Well-connected teams, or teams associated with influential people in the ecosystem, can sometimes sustain that initial attention for longer. But even influence has a limit if there is no consistent marketing and execution behind it. I think GTM should start from the first day a team starts building. Marketing should not be something you switch on when the product is ready. It should be a serious, continuous function of the business, with proper planning across pre-launch, launch and post-launch. Before launch, teams should already be building familiarity, explaining the problem they are solving, participating in the ecosystem and giving people reasons to care. The founder should be visible too. Founder-led marketing works very well in Bittensor because people are not only evaluating the product; they are also deciding whether they trust the people behind it with their time, attention and capital. And you do not need a major announcement every week to communicate. Share what you are building, what you are learning, decisions you are making, problems you are solving, and progress along the way. Staying visible between the big moments is part of building trust. At launch, you concentrate the attention you have already been building. After launch, the work continues. Keep shipping, keep communicating, and give the community evidence that the promises made before launch are becoming real. This is also why I think announcements should be followed by action. People want to see you ship. There is nothing wrong with creating excitement around progress, but exaggerating announcements can easily backfire. Once people feel oversold, every future announcement becomes harder to believe. For me, Web3 GTM comes down to three stages: build the position and audience before launch, concentrate distribution around launch, and sustain trust and momentum after launch. I’d like to see more subnet teams give GTM the same level of attention they give the product itself. If you’re building a subnet and want to compare notes on positioning, launch strategy, or post-launch growth, feel free to reach out. #Bittensor $TAO
I’ve seen a lot of subnet teams struggle with marketing. And the natural response from the community is usually the same: “this subnet needs to post more on X,” or “they need to be more active.” But from what I’ve noticed, many of these teams do not really have a content problem. They have a positioning problem. And the symptoms usually look similar. Posts are inconsistent, engagement is weak, the tone keeps changing, every announcement sounds like the last one, and community sentiment is soft. So the team scrambles. They hire a new marketing guy, increase posting frequency, try more memes, pay people to talk about the project, or experiment with new formats. But if nobody on the team can clearly answer who the product is for, what problem it owns, and why someone should care about it over the alternatives, "better" content will not solve much. Content is distribution for positioning. If the positioning is unclear, content simply distributes the confusion faster. I think this is especially common in crypto because teams often start with building the tech. They understand what they built in great detail, so the marketing becomes a list of features, architecture, integrations and technical advantages. What is often missing is the translation of all that into a story people can understand and remember. I usually use a simple test when I see a subnet struggling with marketing. Remove the project name from its last five posts. Could three competing projects have published those exact posts? If yes, I would go back to positioning before worrying about posting more. Before deciding what to publish, a marketing team should be able to answer three things clearly: - Who are we trying to win? - What do we want to be known for in their mind? - What makes our claim believable? Once those answers are clear, content becomes much easier to create, and you’re far more likely to see meaningful improvement in your marketing.

Most traders don’t lack data. They lack a good way to connect it all. Juggling multiple tools for charts, ratings, news and strategy testing makes connecting the dots and spotting opportunities a job of its own. @alpharidge_ai is building AlphaRidge (SN45) to solve that problem by bringing the entire research-to-trade preparation process into one workspace. Here’s what you can do with it: ▶️ Screen thousands of US stocks and hundreds of crypto assets using market metrics, proprietary ratings, patterns, news and sentiment. ▶️ Build indicators and strategies with RidgeScript, which is compatible with TradingView Pine scripts, then use the same logic across charts, alerts and market-wide screens. ▶️ Use its AI analyst to write scripts, run screens, mark up charts and build automations, with the underlying data exposed so you can check its work. ▶️ Set rules and alerts that keep running in the background, with notifications through email, Discord, Slack or Telegram. The workflow is simple: research → screen → test → automate → review. What makes this interesting is that AlphaRidge also has a free tier for charting, while paid plans add screening, ratings, real-time data and AI features. You still make the final trading decisions, but you spend less time jumping between tools to prepare for them. Explore it at alpharidge.ai [Bitcast Brief]

Bittensor subnets can now support up to 2,500 miners, up from the previous 256 limit. This gives subnets much more room to grow, especially the ones built around large-scale compute, data collection or other tasks that benefit from having many miners. Bittensor subnets are now generating more than $50M in annualized revenue. But what does that mean when you compare $TAO with Bitcoin, Ethereum, Hyperliquid, decentralized AI projects, and even companies like OpenAI and NVIDIA? @bittingthembits went deep on the numbers, including where the bull case looks strong and where it doesn’t.
