If anyone has a secret mobile phone hidden from an abusive partner, remember to switch off emergency alerts, or the phone will be activated with the loud alert on the evening of 23/04. I think this government action is misguided for a few reasons

Today, we remember the 17 brave crew members of @RNLIRyeHarbour who tragically lost their lives #OTD in 1928.
The Mary Stanford lifeboat launched in heavy seas to a stricken cargo ship but capsized with the loss of all the crew.

This is one of my neighbours, Manuel. He’s missing since last night and the whole street is so worried. If you’re in the Willesden, Kilburn, Kensal, Queens Park area please keep an eye out. Worth knowing the photo is quite old. @MetCC @TulipSiddiq already helping.

#OTD in 1981, less than a week after Guernsey's Gold Medal service to the Bonita, the eight volunteer crew of @penleelifeboat Solomon Browne were killed trying to save the crew of the Union Star. We will never forget their selfless bravery.
