I like how @mattpocockuk 's skills are concise and clearly worded. It's easy to read and understand what they do
Most of the skills out there are walls of text and so poorly written that by the end I'm still wondering what the skill does
Confusing input -> confusing output
I'm looking for a collection of simple, focused, platform-agnostic design skills.
@impeccable_ai is difficult to setup, does too many things, very verbose, and has web-specific jargon
So basically @mattpocockuk 's skills but for design
Just saw that @GitHubCopilot announced their free tier for everyone
They also have an affordable paid tier
How does it compare to @cursor_ai ?
My favorite new GitLens feature is this button that lets AI generate a commit message based looking at your staged files 🙌

Stumbled upon github.com/Ilyas-Codes/eCour… today. Looks neat.
What are the other self-hosted course platforms out there?
Found another neat course platform for self-hosting github.com/frappe/lms
What are this year's BFCM deals aggregator sites?
Last year I remember it was blackfridaydeals.dev and dealsfordevs.com/
Also creatorblackfriday.com/ by @dceddia , will you update it for this year?
Launched the landing page for IceBuddy, a cold water therapy app 🧊 📱 ⌚
Created with @relume_io and @webflow. Went from prompt to a website in ~2h. Remaining few hours were spent on polishing design and creating the media

Is there a way to not have @cursor_ai move file tabs upfront when applying suggested code changes from chat?
Completed #100DaysOfSwiftUI! 🎉 (with distinction 🥇)
Took just over a month, with some weekends off. Avg. 4 days/day and now confident building apps in SwiftUI
Thanks @twostraws for an amazing learning experience. As a teacher myself, I even learned some teaching techniques!
Finished Day 99 of #100daysofswiftui by building SnowSeeker
Learned about split views and practiced more core skills. I feel it's easier & faster for me to build with SwiftUI, and the resulting code seems cleaner too 🙌
Finished Day 95 of #100daysofswiftui with another app built from scratch: DiceRoller
Kept the design simple and focused on functionality.
Moving on to the last project. Can't wait to resume work on IceBuddy!

Finished Day 94 of #100daysofswiftui
GeometryReader is very powerful and allows you to adjust your views based on their position. You can accomplish some cool effects with it
Also learned more about the layout system in SwiftUI, which is very different from the web/DOM
Finished Day 91 of #100daysofswiftui by building Flashzilla
Learned about timers which is handy since I'll be using it in IceBuddy
Biggest hurdle was realising that on swipe left the card wouldn't go back into the stack because I didn't reset the offset 🤦♂️
