⚠️Please stay out of the water, it really isn't worth the risk of your life. We know it can also be distressing for bystanders to see somebody getting into trouble in open water. The Jack Pullen Foundation has some advice for bystanders that could help save a life⚠️

Such an insightful session today, I was lucky enough to sit in the session and I learnt so much, I thought I knew all about water safety but there was so much I didn’t know. Please go onto the foundation social media or @RNLI and read their safety tips...
Today we went into Longdendale High School ( Jack’s high school ) to teach Water Safety and tell Jack’s story to Year 9 students as part of their enrichment week. Thank you so much for having us and giving us the opportunity to tell our story @LHS_HighSchool

💔 Jack Pullen drowned in July 2016 at age 16, in the River Etherow. His uncle and sister are helping raise awareness of the dangers of open water to save others from suffering the way they have @_jpfoundation #WaterSafety #DrowningPrevention
There are fears this summer could see a huge spike in accidental drownings as the pandemic pushes more people to holiday in the UK. Our Senior Reporter @EloiseLinford has been to the River Etherow in Hyde to meet Chris Jordan, whose cousin Jack drowned in 2016: #GetWaterWise

There is a group of grieving parents & family members waiting for a response on this? @guardian This is just a few, there's many more who agree with our anger & frustration. @fionagoz @_jpfoundation @DoingitforDylan Many agree this "Advert" is uncalled for & irresponsible
I'm absolutely shocked at the irresponsiblity of the @guardian advertising on the front page something which many of us all year round try to prevent. Jumping from heights into unknown cold waters can & does have many tragic consequences. @KathViner what's response please?

Jack is sadly another young man who lost his life to open water. Please watch & sign the petition. We just want to ensure that others don't feel the pain we feel. Education will save lives. 💙 Please sign & share petition.parliament.uk/petit…
Please watch and share!! Please recognise the dangers of open water and realise it’s so much colder than you think. Let our pain be your reason not to go in the water and risk your life, 5 minutes of fun IS NOT worth your family’s life time of pain💔 We miss you forever Jack

The sun ☀️ is shining. Please don’t be tempted to cool of in reservoirs. Reservoirs are extremely unpredictable. With strong undercurrents & hidden machinery & depth changes. Please read over the warning signs they’re their for you safety. @YWHelp @WYFRS

While you’re out and about making the most of the sunshine, stay safe near water. Half of those who accidentally drowned in 2018 had no intention of being in the water #BeWaterAware
