Do people get it now why so many of us on the Right are permanently mistrusting of Church leadership when it comes to race issues?
Samuel Sey is a Ghanaian whose family fled to Canada, and then married an American⌠and within a YEAR or two of coming to America on a temporary visa, he lectures natives on âracismâ in the church and tells us he is just as American as we are (while not even having the decency to take his time in the legal citizenship system). He even called in a FAKE bomb threat, which he blamed on âkinistsâ in the American Church.
His unremarkable takes are then immediately seal-clapped for by church leaders, and then boosted by Con Inc talking heads, all in an effort to put down Real Americans; not to lift up the Church.
I hope his departure to Canada or Ghana or wherever is uneventful and safe; and that maybe if heâs listening to the Spirit, heâll take some time to learn the humility required of God by teachers (and maybe heâll do the wise thing and step away from public leadership for a long time).
But this is only the latest in a long line of episodes in American Church leadership continually mishandling the clash of Races, Cultures, and yes, Religions, in our society; and until some of them are mature enough to discuss these issues like adults, thereâs really no reason to heed their lectures on the subject.
Theyâre wrong too often to be trustworthy, and thatâs lamentable.
I have received a statement from DHS regarding Sam Sey:
âOn October 21, ICE arrested Samuel Sey, an illegal alien from Ghana, at the Columbus International Airport. Sey entered the United States legally in 2022 but overstayed his length of admission by over four years, in violation of our nationâs laws. Sey has no pending applications and accepted voluntary departure. He will remain in ICE custody until removed from the United States.
Â
âWe do not pick and choose which laws to enforce or where to enforce them.
Â
âWe encourage all illegal aliens to take control of their departure with the CBP Home App. The United States is offering illegal aliens $3,000 and a free flight to self-deport now. We encourage every person here illegally to take advantage of this offer and reserve the chance to come back to the U.S. the right legal way to live the American dream. If not, you will be arrested and deported without a chance to return.â - DHS SPOX
As I get more information, I will update.
Why do so many evangelical pastors struggle to recognize there are other men with authority in society? Ex. Fathers, magistrates, godly elderly people, guys with vocational expertise.
NEW HORIZONS FEATURE | Where are the Young Men? by Rev. Everett Henes
In Christian circles, many wonder how to reach young men in a digital age, and how to encourage them to consider ministry. Rev. Everett Henes contributes to the conversation in this month's New Horizons. Read the full article here: opc.org/nh.html?article_id=1âŚ
Itâs TROPTOBER
There are pastors who love sportsball writing their umpteenth article or sermon about the evils of Christian Nationalism who will not say anything about the filth broadcasted in American living rooms.
My 7-year-old son canât watch sports with me anymore. Not because of the games, but because of the commercials.
The horror movie trailers are the worst. The terrifying imagery can send him into a spiral of anxiety that lasts well beyond the 30-second ad. These are images his young mind simply isnât ready to process.
We talk a lot about mental health in this country, especially in sports. Yet between the relentless gambling ads, alcohol promotions and genuinely disturbing horror trailers, Iâve reached a point where watching an MLB or NFL game with my kids requires me to monitor every commercial break.
I love sports. I work in sports. Some of my favorite childhood memories were made watching games with my family. I want that for my sons.
I wish we could exercise better judgment about what weâre putting in front of families during sporting events.
Sports should bring generations together. Instead, Iâm increasingly forced to treat game day like an adults-only event.
Something feels very wrong about that.

Christopher Columbus was born in 1451.Â
In 1453 the ancient Christian city of Constantinople fell to the Ottoman Turks. The Hagia Sophia, an ancient, amazing cathedral, was turned into a mosque.Â
Spain was still fighting the last of the Moorish, or Muslim, occupation that it had been under for nearly 800 years, and would until 1492 (obviously a key date)
These two examples are a tiny piece of the needed context for the story of Christopher Columbus, and the majority of us have never heard either one.
Columbus referred to his financial backers, King Ferdinand and Queen Isabella, as âenemies of the wretched sect of Mahomet,â and that they had sent him forth so distant peoples might âaid in the war against the enemies of our holy faith.âÂ
He called himself âa servant of the Most High Saviour, Christ the Son of Mary,â and pledged any gold he found to âthe recovery of the Holy Sepulchre,â that thousand year old church (at the time) in Jerusalem that the mother of Constantine had founded, also controlled by muslims.
Why do we judge our Christian forebears by our modern Christian civilization and our modern standards, but never the enemies they were facing?Â
Our own stories have been ripped from their context and retold to us to make us hate our forefathers, textbooks having been written by the Epstein class for the last 50 years, but enough about Ghislaine's dad, Robert Maxwell.Â
In 1492, the same year the âmuhammadansâ were forced from Spain, Columbus set sail beneath the banner of his faith with that very real threat of militant islam in mind.Â
We should look to his example, remember his courage, and celebrate his accomplishment that allowed us to build the modern west and civilization that has blessed the entire world, including the âmohammadensâ too. Â
So with that in mind, Happy Columbus Day!
Repenting of the sin of gluttony illustrates the relationship between grace and nature.
One will rightly repent of gluttony yet it will still take months or longer for their body to reflect the inner reality.
Yes. Alsoâwhile sin is usually involved. Itâs not straightforward willpower.
Your body is not a bank account of calories. Itâs not simple âeat less and move moreâ for MANY people.
Your body is a biological system. Food is not simple math, energy enters the body in biologically complex packages called food. These interact with different bodies in different ways.
The good news is that apart from certain disease states that need pharmaceutical help, most everyone can over time get to a healthy weight by following some simple advice.
1. Eat the things God made for food.
2. Be attentive to your own bodyâs response
3. Limit starches, avoid sugar
4. Aim for a protein target
5. Eat fats for flavor and only to fullness
6. Stay hydrated.
7. Attend to electrolytes
8. Donât eat if you arenât hungry.

This is existential for the democrats. If Vance wins â28, and the 2030 census reflects these moves, the Democrats will be dead for decades. And then we can have our war over control of the GOP (right wing vs. Legacy Establishment). This specifically is why Iâm for Vance.
Think ahead. Organize.
đ¨BREAKING: The Trump administration is currently pushing the Census Bureau to remove roughly 18 million illegal aliens and legal non-citizens from the 2030 national census.
Democrats, who have been harboring illegal aliens in their âsanctuary states,â would lose approximately 10 House seats and 10 Electoral College votes.

My father-in-law is a Christian. He is insanely godly. We were looking at a murderer together years ago and I asked him what it would cost to obey the Sixth Commandment today. I will never forget his answerâŚ

BREAKING: A federal appeals court halts the execution of Tennessee death row inmate Christa Pike about an hour before she was set to die by lethal injection.
Execution witnesses had already gathered at Riverbend Maximum Security Institution in Nashville when the order came down around 9 a.m. local time.
The judges say they want to review whether Pike's allegations of childhood sexual abuse and rape were fully considered before she was sentenced to death.
Pike, now 50, was convicted of murdering 19-year-old Colleen Slemmer in 1995, when Pike was 18. Her execution would have been Tennessee's first of a woman in at least 200 years.
It's not yet clear how long the delay will last or whether Tennessee's attorney general will appeal.

This is disappointing, but not surprising.
I hope Americans start to see that anybody advocating for not enforcing the law on illegal immigration, and "legal" immigration scams, are in favor of suppressing American wages.
That's all.
Helps the corporate bottom line, but it keeps wages low for Americans.
Oddly enough, the savings are never passed on to the consumer, either.
A standard of living their generation enjoyed is perpetually out of reach for young families today.

Just as a reminder:
The "United States of America" is a political entity.
"America," the place and the people, predate it. There had to already be an America (and Americans) for there to be constituted a United States *of* it.

Do the meritocracy bros just swap out their wife for better ones when they see a civilian performing better than their spouse?
How about their kids?
And then even that will feel too risky and weâll use a third party location to pick up deliveries. And now weâre basically back to shopping at Target and malls.
Replying to @HankHeil
In one of my books I argued that gated communities will probably have to eventually start screening deliveries and making the drivers meet the customers at the gates.
The past decade weâve lived in city-center adjacent areas and itâs obviously not as safe as other parts of town.
But the past few years when we visit the suburbs where family and friends live, it doesnât feel any safer either.

Heritage America and Heritage Americans (the descendants of the settlers and pioneers), make up the world that your grandfathers thought they were fighting to defend in World War II. It was the world before the great cultural revolutions of the 1960s, the managed community transformations of the 70s, and the Immigration Industrial Complex of the 1980s.
Whenever âconservativesâ pretend that Heritage Americans donât even exist, and that Heritage America is something we should never look back on fondly, they are declaring their opposition to the world you fight to honor, promote, and restore. Heritage Americanism is in a war with the heritage liquidationists.
Frankly, our sports getting entangled with gambling is way worse than peak woke was. The leaders of the sports have endangered both fans and players.
The NFL, MLB, MLS, NBA and NHL joined with their respective playersâ unions today to crack down on betting-related harassment of athletes, coaches and families.
Â
âThreatening the safety of an athlete or their family members over a sports bet crosses a bright ethical and criminal line, and it is entirely unacceptable,â the group wrote to gaming regulators in 35 states and the District of Columbia.
