Fair play this is up there with one of the most embarrassing things I’ve seen a Premier League club do

The reality of forced conscription. Two men sent to murder each other for rich people. Over my dead body will British men and boys be going to die in cold ditch in Ukraine for Zelenzky

Kind of scissor that can tear an ACL, snap an ankle, break a leg etc.
Really ugly.
Yet you want someone, never mind a 16 year old kid, to be a robot and not react to that in the moment, with, just a shrug of a leg. That is literally all he does.
Nothing violent, nothing dangerous. And then the Fleetwood players react like that trying to get him sent off.
Embarrassing.
Fake tough guy crap.
Rules need changing.

a slide with excessive force that could have ruptured a kids knee and changed his career forever gets applauded whilst the terrified kid who kicks his foot loose from being clamped gets sent off because, "he shouldnt react" is fucking bullshit and one of the worst parts of refereeing

That tackle meant to hurt Dowman.
He won the ball very cleanly and tough. That’s fair.
But the scissor isn’t and if Dowmans leg gets stuck in the ground, that can be very serious.
He meant to stick one on Dowman. So it’s fair game for Dowman to react. And he didn’t react dangerously or kick. It’s more a shove with his leg.
Then a pathetic reaction from the Fleetwood players tbh. What bullies do. Instigate, pick on the little one, then cry wolf when there’s a reaction.
No common sense used here.

People will watch Arsenal engage in this chaos with Europe’s elite, then watch them come up against a stubborn mid-table side fighting for a point and conclude it is in fact Arsenal who are diluting the entertainment.
Shamelessly ignorant

Ultimately Rice is a PL winner and Fernandes never will be, but it’s a damn shame how zealously English football media tried to convince us Fernandes was more deserving of PL POTY for putting up stats as he played once a week, while Rice was actually world class over 60+ games.

Can we stop pretending these clubs are the only ones who have to work under restrictions? Arsenal operated a very strict transfer policy of selling key players almost every year for basically 15 years under Wenger. Did it bother you when you were signing their players lol

— Phantom pen against Konsa, unanimously ruled error by KMI
— Grav sent off for two soft yellows, 0:0 becomes 3:0
A lot so early in the season

City won six titles in seven seasons (unprecedented), won four titles in a row (unprecedented) and won 100 points in a 38 game season (unprecedented). The idea that punishing City is a blow to league competitiveness could not be more separated from reality.
🚨 Joe Cole:
🎙 "If your the establishment, Liverpool, Arsenal, Utd, Chelsea etc.. the other clubs don't have capacity to compete." 😡
"So are we to go another fifty years only seeing Arsenal, Utd, Liverpool winning.. Rules need to be changed so others can compete" 👏

This is very literally one of many arguments for a severe penalty, precisely because those moments cannot be taken away.
