The numbers are in. According to the @NSUARB drivers in #NS will pay a carbon tax of 14.31 cents per litre of gasoline starting on July 1. On July 7, an additional 3.74 cents will be added at the wholesaler level under Clean Fuel Regulations. How will this impact you?

The rain isn’t keeping us away from the Digby Farmers’ Market today. We are also in Shelburne today, too. Come and get your seedlings.

Today’s disappointing release from the Nova Scotia Liberal Party casts doubt on our sector’s environmental and safety record. xitter.cf/zachchurchill/status/1… @_ForestNS /1

Safety has to be our top priority and that includes stopping all commercial activity until rain comes to get these fires under control. The threat is not over. We cannot afford to lose any more homes or businesses. We need to come together to ensure we get this situation resolved

Last week, @_ForestNS launched an awesome campaign to share the history and importance of Nova Scotia's forest sector. The ForestNS team will be donating tree seedlings to individuals across the province to get everyone involved in caring for our forests. ourtrees.ca

Healthy forests act as shock absorbers, soaking up excess water and reducing the risk of flooding. That's why we work to protect existing forests and restore degraded ones to keep our communities safe. #forestprotection #naturebasedsolutions #forestsNB theglobeandmail.com/canada/a…

The federal government is forcing a carbon tax on Nova Scotians, while at the same time blocking real solutions to greening our grid. I stand with the real opportunities of tidal and wind that can truly green our grid and positively transform our economy. #nspoli #cdnpoli
