Spoke to a guy in a retirement home
93 years old
Kids all grown up, wife passed away.
I asked what he missed the most.
A tear formed in the corner of his eye.
“1977. Last day of Q2. Had the best sales presentation of my life and hit 200% of my quota. Received a set of steak knives as a bonus and won employee of the month. What I wouldn’t give to go back.”
Wow.
Enjoy it while you can guys, your career doesn’t last forever.

Feels wrong that a pundit can just chuck out a line like that a manager post-match. It’s hugely disrespectful for me.

For the first time in 75 years, the Sam Mcguire Cup comes home to Mayo, Ireland.
I said it three years ago when I was in Ballina: Mayo for Sam!
And I meant it.
I said it because I know what it means not just the county of Mayo but to my own family’s story.
Today, the dream becomes reality.
Congratulations to my friends in Mayo. You earned this victory. Enjoy every minute. Sam is coming home ☘️

Congrats @AIDOXI
The resilience you have shown has been rewarded today. Imagine having given up 2 years ago..you would have to sit on the couch with 50 years of regrets… look at you now..whether you kicked a ball today doesn’t matter a fuck..
You were there for every meeting, clarity session and training session. Your input will be appreciated by those who matter. You can do what you like now. Enjoy the celebrations.💪❤️❤️🥇

254 Liverpool goals (so far) for Salah is his 9th season is INSANE
To put that into context
Shearer in 10 seasons scored 206 goals for Newcastle
Henry in 8 seasons got 226 for Arsenal
Wayne Rooney in 13 seasons got 253 for Utd
He has been truly incredible for this club

If there was still any doubt of who is the GOAT, today the debate is over.
Unreal what @DjokerNole is doing, no matter what the outcome of the 5th set is. BRAVO.

It’s time the media stopped using the phrase ‘one of the world’s biggest football clubs’ about Manchester United. Been a long time since they were one of those.

The club is saddened to have learned of the passing of former player Robin Turner.
Robin, who came through Town’s youth system, made a total of 62 appearances for the Blues, scoring six goals, and was a much-loved member of the squads which won the FA Cup in 1978 and UEFA Cup in 1981.
Once a Blue, always a Blue. 💙
