Andrew Rosindell is a complete hypocrite . He campaigned for a “settlement” with Mauritius in line with the exact ICJ ruling Starmer has used as the basis to hand over Chagos – the ruling that says Britain should not be sovereign over the islands.
When I asked whether the Conservatives finally now support the Chagossians’ right to self-determination and resettlement, I was met with contempt.
The Shadow Foreign Secretary @pritipatel told the Shadow Defence Secretary @jcartlidgemp " don't waste your time,” and the question went unanswered - replaced by the kind of spin to be expected from Labour.
Despite all their talk, it's still not clear what Conservative Party policy is on this!

I’m in Edinburgh and being asked a lot of questions about ITV’s Reform expose.
The reported comments show yet again why we’re not doing deals with Reform. We want Reform voters back, not Reform politicians.
Reform voters are being let down by the people who claim to represent them. Many of these people were the ones who let them down in the Conservative Party. We are now under new management.
These people caused a lot of problems and is why I say Nigel Farage has been doing my spring cleaning.
These problems will keep coming for Reform. Just as Farage is being investigated, so is Robert Jenrick, and so is Richard Tice. These problems will never end because of the kind of people they are - they don’t care about high standards of conduct.
That is why I am showing those voters who want to defeat Labour but left the Conservative Party that it’s time to come home. We are under new management, and you deserve better than this.

The comments made by Reform UK councillors are abhorrent.
The narrative from Reform is less and less about low taxes, less regulation, smaller government etc and more and more about race and skin colour.
There will be plenty of voters and people who defected to Reform who will see these comments and be disgusted. This is not what they were promised and it is not what they want.
