Thank you @ChartMogul for an incredible 8 years of keeping track of my MRR. I recommend this product to anyone just getting started.
(I'm only leaving because I built an in-house solution that chartmogul couldn't support)
The filters were pretty ugly on @castingcallclub, so today I went in and cleaned up a bunch of things.
Keep in mind that labels are type-in fields. That means they all come from you. I periodically go through these labels and merge them, delete some, and approve some for being in the search, etc. This happens about once per year, and here are the major updates I've done this time.
These labels are now live on the search and on your profiles.
- The voice description field actually will be voice descriptions now. That's always a plus.
- Accents will be grouped by major accent and then by minor accent. So you'll have things like American (New York) and American (Midwest) and British (Cockney) now
- Languages will be sorted first by the most popular language in the platform, which is English, followed by Spanish, and then all the rest.
- I deleted about 150 slurs or bad words inside of these labels. Please stop being naughty.
Across my 9 apps, I serve 8k-ish rpm at 100ms request time. 60m page views monthly with 3.1M active users.
Not sure I'm an 'indie maker' considering I've been doing this 25 years.
This isn't about cost. It's about that trad saas is slow and not tailored for my needs.
I cloned Help Scout in about an hour. It's been great because I have a much deeper integration with all my apps, and the auto-replies are upwards of ninety percent confident. Just review + send.
I also cloned Fathom, sorry.
