Betty Carter joins the ancestors. She was 69. Born Lillie Mae Jones in Flint and raised in Detroit, she enjoyed a great music career that spanned more than 40 years. Carter recorded with greats the likes of Ray Charles, Carmen McRae, and Dizzy Gillespie.

So, DPD officials just held a press conference on the corner of Kelly and Moross to address the Detroit Chris Brown incident. They said they had six complaints on him since December 26 for impeding traffic, begging for money, using a loud speaker, profanity, and obscene dancing.
