Rest peacefully to Freddie Jackson. My wife, who is a big fan of his music, was just playing some of his hits and talking about his Unsung episode. Freddie was one of the last great Black male balladeers from the 80s with Luther Vandross and Alexander O’Neal being the others. 🙏🏽

Since September is Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month, I decided to share my story with the world in @newsweek
He-Man was literally one of my childhood heroes growing up. I remember my Mom and Dad taking my brother and I to see 87 film release of Masters of the Universe. That said, I thoroughly enjoyed the latest Masters of the Universe film. Disregard the critics, this film was fun!
Looking at my Apple Music monthly replay list, I’m actively trying to expand the artists and genres that I listen to. Prince and Stevie will always be in top rotation, but my jazz pallet is severely lacking even though it’s one of my favorite genres.
Watching the Pistons TV turned me into a lifelong fan since I was a kid. It introduced me to George Blaha, Greg Kelser, Rick Mahorn, Kelly Tripucka and other Pistons legends. I’m glad a new generation of Pistons fans get to experience this access. #DetroitBasketball

A decade ago, on a warm summer night in Minneapolis, I had the opportunity to see D’Angelo live in concert at the legendary First Avenue. This concert was followed by Questlove DJ Set that made the night even more memorable. Such an amazing experience. May his music live on.
