I absolutely needed @jackiekashian 's pep talk on this weeks @MakeMyDayPod right before I started a workshop on healthy relationships for youth😭 "You can't change the whole world but you can make a difference for the person right in front of you!" @joshgondelman
How do you ensure students know that their grade doesn't determine their worth? That a lower mark than what they are used to does not mean they are a bad student? That they have some work to do but we are so happy they are here and eager to do well? #TAlife

Shout out to @RebeccaZandberg for demanding an answer from PPC candidate in London Fanshawe riding on the anti-vax protests in front of hospital this week. So rarely do we get a clear answer from politicians (we still didn't). Excellent moderation! #lndnont

Believe survivors, absolutely. But also trust survivors. They are the experts of their own lives, and they do not owe us their stories. Many of the folks impacted this weekend may never come forward publicly– they still deserve support & healing & time. /end

If someone discloses to you, don't try to fix it but hold space for their feelings. Ask them how to best show up for them. Ask them what would be helpful. Don't ask them for details, don't assume they want to formally report. /6
Incredibly honoured to be a part of this special issue from @NewSocJournal -- Becoming (Un)Productive: Grieving Death, Reclaiming Life
